The two senseless penalties conceded underscores the need to have a great blend of experienced and greenhorns in tournaments.

No ojoro, they were clear penalties and needless tackles.

They are too professional to be making such tackles in their own box. Hopefully they pick themselves up and fight back.

Lol you remind me of that Mahrez free kick last tournament. Soon as I saw the way Akpeyi was behaving in goal in my heart of hearts I knew we would concede

Mujtahida:

Not you alone. Maduka doesn't inspire confidence. Yours is even better, you prefer Uzoho. Me, none of them cos I've seen them all to know they are all on the same level except that Akpeyi transmits fear in such a visceral way that even you watching him, will start shaking as he is shaking.

their attack is rubbish
Are you sure?

They are playing counter and so far it resulted in two penalties. Now they have scored a counter attack goal that is being crosschecked.

Go on my brother. I Used to be a staunch Christian but I abandoned it five years now and I found peace. I'm not a traditionalist but I strongly believe - like the Igbo concept of Chi-that God is within everyone of us.
Though I would have loved to ask more questions, let me pause it here so I don't derail the thread.
I don't know ur reason though but You can still find a better way to it .
I always advice people that is not all about going to church and all that religious activities.
It's about having a deep personal relationship with Christ Himself.
He said without Him we are nothing n can do nothing.
I pray d next time u encounter christ,u won't let go.
take care

Chinua Achebe is also from Nri-Awka areas.

Ikenga is best described as a personal deity for titled and influencial of the society, in precolonial northern Igbo land. Its not a community deity with a shrine where everybody worship. In fact , Ikenga is a feature of affluence.

This Ikenga effigy
Achebe is from Ogidi. His house is very close to Oye Olisa at the junction. It's a pity the state government have not done anything to immortalize him. You can pass his house and you won't know. No landmark, not even a statue at his junction, nothing.

Some people are saying those PKs shouldn't have been given. I just shake my head. I don't like and i dont think i can ever like the Cameroonian team because of what Hayatou did to naija but these Burkinabes are playing like a conference league team...

Do these guys not understand rules of soccer? Because these PKs conceded by Burkina are so unnecessary. The second one, that Cameroon player was only going to cross the ball, why foul him?

Also, Traore has been playing rubbish. Stupid foul
Apart from his cross that led to their goal he’s been super trash..
