I like the depth at the right back now , if Ola is not available Ebuehi can easily slot in and it won't be a downgrade on quality

I wonder o!
Moses' "Dribble Attempts" were not even up to 19!!! Wondered how HE would have lost possession 19 times!!!
Dude was even successful in most of his dribble attempts.

Exactly

Omoh Sanusi wey keep Salah at Bay for most part of the game??

Man, I can't even find a weak link in the starting eleven

The front pressed well(Ralf should learn from Austin the art of gen gen pressing)

The midfield were compact

Defence impressed me especially Kenneth.

Ekong really showed class there by just roughing up sallah and make him uncomfortable instead of going in on a rash tackle , those bukina faso defenders would have hack sallah down right there.
daveP:

With all accolades and praises, i think the biggest decision in our favor to this win Should go to both Ekong and Maduka.

If he didn't close Salah down, and that ball went in, our Hossanas will all be "Crucify Him" actually. grin

Majority of nairalanders commenting on front page think Moses Simon deserves man of the match ,even if nacho also deserves to get it

But Na here some people Dey criticize Simon grin

My brother

Nuffs peeps here won't say it, because they want to be hailed as analytical and objective

Simon outdid himself yesterday

Man took the game on his back

But that aside, I think we really need drilling on crossing

Zaidu and Simon were just hitting the ball in a scalar manner

You don't know me so I won't respond to you.

And naaah. I ain't looking for no support system bro.

I single-handedly fought all my lecturers who said I won't graduate because I nor rub palms, cultist who wanted me to bam and I refused, then excaped assasination, and also handled my project supervisor in his office who vowed to frustrate my life.

I single-handedly made them crumble, got my results, and left the school like a boss. They were asking every everybody "who is his father?" Lol Me wey lost my papa since my teenage years.

Nobody else has challenged lecturers in my school and gone free. I did, confidently because my fight was just and right.

So you don't know me.

Till today them still dey fear me for that university. I fought like a wounded lion, ALONE.

I am not weak or emotional. I just hate nonsense.

Thank you.

Moses Simon loose ball 50times, Moses Simon was dispossessed 79times, Moses Simon was pulled out wrongly 83times grin lolz, ppl just know how to rubbish person effort for this thread.....plss I wanna humbly ask, which other winger in that team should start next game, pls let's suggest so that those who don't wanna see him in starting line up will zuike(rest)
If na onyekuru make coach kuku start am or better still Ahmed Musa una want or better make Eguavoen set up the team like Bayern Munich 2012 creative and end product forward and Use Ejuke and Chukwueze, let them come and dribble and play

Ekong missed his timing but his idea was right. I believe Eguavoen will work on that. It all boils down to tactical discipline. Contain the ball and let the high line keep him off. Remember the coach has not had enough time with the boys.

By the way who saw how Sanusi chased Salah to the midfield to tackle him. I could hear Salah from Nigeria exclaim, "I will swear for this Sanusi O!"

Rohr greatly undermined that right back position...Using Shehu and a makeshift Awazeim even when Aina and Ebuehi were available...

9 years apart

2013 and 2015, we did a good job. What Eguavoen is showing is that we have the Nigerian way of doing things.

We need to go back to that formula of how we scouted these players for those U17 tournaments. Thorough scouting of the whole country and building a formidable team.

If we can carry this process for a decade, we can become one of the deadliest teams in the world.

I am still expecting fire from Ebuehi. Even the defenders suffered from Rohr's fear fear attitude.

Even the one managing the Twitter page is nowhere to be found. Some other pages like Soar Super Eagles have thrived in his stead

And it cannot be Twitter ban issue, because they are currently out of the country, so, Twitter ban no suppose affect them.

Nice goal from Kelechi. I strongly believe he needs to leave Leicester and go where he will play regularly to maximize his potential. Maybe he stayed there because of money but then he would achieve more if he played regularly

I think that was one of the most attacking setup I have seen us play in a while. But man, Ndidi had to bring his A game to that match. He was a solid Rock.

And Iheanacho should know he stands to earn more if he gets to an offensive side and plays regularly. He has the capacity to earn the hundreds of thousands of pounds weekly. If he can move to where he will get playing time in an offensive system. Keep the contract short

Boss mode activated. We need to bring the heat.

He is standing for his Leicester City boys, Ndidi and Iheanacho.

I once said it that if I was Aina, I would fake injuries not to honour any international call up. You can't be coming for every international break and putting in enough efforts just to be benched by makeshift players in your position just because the coach wants to be conservative....

I don't quite understand why Nigeria football teams don't take social media engagement so serious.. Some don't post anything expect during match days, leaving their fans to be searching other pages for updates and engagements.

Simon must play from the right from now on. His final balls will be far better when delivered from his stronger right foot. Ejuke can start from the left from where he can cut in and do his thing.

Moses Simon lost the ball 19 times yesterday? I would like to know who compiled those stats. Do you know what loosing the ball 19 times mean? A ten year old kid will struggle real hard to loose the ball that number of times in a game against Real Madrid.
This false representation of stats speaks volume of your real motive.
Very wrong stats.... He had at least a shot on target that Egypt goalkeeper caught.
