Drogba was good and a legend but it doesn’t mean I’ll put him in the same group as Henry for example
Henry?

Well, nostalgia must come to play when you remember some names. For me, there's nothing Henry has on Drogba. Nothing

I will hold foreign coaches to higher standards because they are paid far more and are seen as better even without a thorough scrutiny of their resume.

If we are going to hire an indigenous coach, go for our best. If we have to look far away, let the journey be worth it. Are we not tired of gambles?

nice try at sarcasm, just that I didn’t see this negativity when Eguavoen was announced as interim. I believe you are jumping the gun, let the man start work first and see what he’s all about no need to spread negativity

e be like say na the best wey our pocket fit carry us be this, besides let him start work first, we once hired a very good foreign coach in Berti Vogt who ended up failing. I don’t even see any local coach who has a CV decent enough for the super eagles

We are talking about club football ,yakubu is among the african greats in the epl And there is nothing you Nigerian beer parlour analyst can do about it because he missed a goal against South Korea as if we will qualify for the next round with him scoring

simple, coaching. Africa have a very big coaching problem.

Coaching is one problem.
Goal keeping is another.
Midfield is another.

These 3 areas is limiting our potential.

Do you guys think Nigeria can win the next AFCON ?
Super Eagles need to console us for missing out of the WC.
Senegal’s growth from the 2018 WC, to 2019 AFCON finalists & then 2022 AFCON champions wasn’t luck. They never gave up.

Nigeria had 3 points in 2018 WC
Senegal had 4 points in 2018 WC; they lost out to Japan when a coin was tossed or probably number of yellow cards

Do we have the players & coaching crew
for 2023 AFCON that can do the job?
The plan starts now. Off season friendlies
Would be sad to see these crop of players we have now not win anything

Besides Troost Ekong (captain) for media reasons, every other person must be called up on merit henceforth. Whether home based (that have adapted to playing in hot weather) or foreign based.
NFF board shouldn’t be forcing players on coaches or courting retired players to come back.

If only Herve Renard & Fikayo Tomori undecided, never mind ...,,,

I made this post on Feb 06, before knockouts. It was clear even then that they would tear the big boys apart with their playing style.
Unfortunately their bus ends here
There’s no way they will knock out Liverpool at this stage of the competition

I’d love to see Liverpool vs Man City in the finals but it looks like it would be Liverpool vs Real Madrid

They’re the best teams in the world right now
Good for English football & EPL fans

Jota
Luis Diaz
Mane
Sallah
Firminho
Origi
Virgil

The talent agents in Liverpool are doing a tremendous job getting quality players much cheaper than that of Man City
I’m sure they’re in profit

So some are Still missing franco German Ole Gunner Solksjaer on this Board? Super Eagles have been reduced to making Numbers at World Cup and Nation's Cup?

Rohr was in charge for 6 fuckin years ffs! What did we achieve with him? 3rd place at AFCON? Common..... this is Super Eagles of Nigeria we are talking about not Black Stars of Ghana.

Do we wanna become our noisy Neighbour? Do we wanna become History National Team? Sacking Rohr is a right Decision. Trusting Eguavoen to lead us to WC is absolutely wrong Decision cus he has showed us he's not capable.

Salisu Yusuf is tactically better than most indigenous Coaches. I am so happy Ike replaces that Failure called Alloy. Finidi? Hopefully he's gonna be a tactically sound Coach.... Time will tell.

I said in relative to Juventus.
If the tables were turned, no way a Juve player gets sent off in 13 seconds for argument especially when defending a goal with 10 mins to go.
I don't think so. Besides no Juve player will be squaring up to the referee like that. The second guy was given a yellow first but he continued charging at the ref.
