Lose or draw or Win 2-1, or 10 nil, they complain! I don't understand such defeatist mentality. What else do you want them to do cos I don't understand?

Don’t mind them

Iwobi is a joy to watch. Etebo still needs to add quick decision making and pass to his game. He delays transition. Sha adding alhassan and with ndidi coming back omo this team will be fire

He is a DMF, it's literally his job to delay transition once in a while. You can't play gongho for 90minutes, have you seen Busquets turning in the middle of the pitch before? A good DMF should know when to slow the ball down, you may not like it but it is what it is. It is left for Iwobi or whoever the pacesetter is in the team to request the ball from him and move it.

Nothing much can be gotten from this result to access the true standing of the team but at least it shows a mental shift. Our teams have to play with ruthless aggregation to always want to win every match. This kind of mentality will serve us well when we start encountering tougher opposition

Either you didn't watch our games against those teams or you're incredibly useless.

Etebo really used a once-in-a-year free-kick goal to purchase 12 months gametime.

Poor performance.

Chukwueze is more creative, more adventurous and bags more passing technique.
You're mistaking creativity and skill. Skill is not creativity that's why we see people here calling Ejuke our most creative player when he's only skillful at best.

Chukwueze is more skillful but Lookman is more creative and a better overall player. Lookman had more numbers this season. 8 gaols 5 assists while Chukwueze had 3goals 3 assists.

Lookman's pass success rate is 80% while Chukwueze's is 75% so I don't know why you're calling Chukwueze a better passer. I see Chukwueze as lethal only when you're looking to hit a team on the counter. He's skillful and has a good left leg to put the ball in the right spot. However, making him a starter when you have Lookman on the bench is a no no.

I think this will be like the record set by FloJo in Women’s 100 meters. That record has lasted more than 30 years intact.

O pari

I think Elaine Thompson-Herah has broken that record..

Nigeria makes history already just 4 games into Peseiro's reign. This is how you statpad!!!!

Our 10-0 win today is officially our biggest win in an international game.

The Spambots limited my inputs for the rest of the game so I stuck to twitter.

The supermods just helped out now so I can comment again.

Omo!!! This is the Kind of Vawulence I love to see!!!

Ten Zero!!! That is how you treat minnows!!! grin

So many firsts today....

- Osimhen's first Senior Career Hattrick. He got it and then went one further to make it a Super Hat-trick. cool That's a correct Vawulence Attitude. grin

- Moffi's first goal in 7 caps. Went on to score 2.

- Dennis' First Super Eagles goal in 7 caps.

- Lookman's First Super Eagles goal in 4 caps.

- Etebo's First Freekick Goal in the Super Eagles. In 40 caps.

- Uzoho's first Passing perfection in goal in his entire competitive career having played 45 mins or more. 22/22 passes all made. Didn't misplace one.

The perfect display of dominance.

They indeed got the "Statpad" Memo at Halftime sent by my able assistant, Yara Yara. What a day. We move!!

I agree. The one word that can be used to support your conclusion is effectiveness.

Lookman is more effective in delivering a tactical role of any sort than Chukwueze. A player's application of skills is a factor in their ability to deliver but it's not the most important factor.

IMO, people who are still bitter about us not qualifying for the world cup definitely staked a lot either financially or emotionally in that Ghana game, cus I don't see why it's so hard for them to move on..

Notwithstanding the quality of the opponent today, I saw a lot of improvement in the team.. Our overall performance was better today..

And I have to admit that the pitch played a big factor in this... How difficult can it be to build and maintain just one world class football pitch for the national team? It is 2022 FFS!

#STPNGA Stats attack: Alex Iwobi

Yes, the focus is on Osimhen's Super Hat-trick and brace of assists, Lookman's First goal, Etebo's sweet Direct freekick, and the 10-0 historic scoreline.... BUT...

Spare a thought for our Midfield Orchestrator, Alexander "The great" Iwobi.

He didn't bag a goal or an assist today but he ran the show in the middle.

He made the most touches in the game (111)

He made the most accurate passes (88)

He also delivered the most accurate long balls (11/14).

He created one direct chance but had a hand in several of the build up plays that led to some of the goals.

This is to remind us that a deeplying playmaker may not always register a goal or an assist but his influence on games is immeasurably obvious. He is the wheels-turner in our Middle game dynamics.

And there was no one more involved than Alex Iwobi today. No one. 111 touches. 88 accurate passes.... My Goodness... that is God-like influence. Take a bow Maestro.
