I like what Musa did today. As said above, no showboating. He's barely that kind of player. Direct and fast. Chuks and Simon should learn from that.

Simon is direct.

Those of you that is not happy with continues invitation of Ahmad Musa should brace up. The governor is as important as a player like ndidi or oshimen, if not more. This man is doing very well in keeping these players together, the harmony between the players and the federation is handy work of Musa. The federation like his personality and the players love him . To keep Musa happy around the group, his best friend also getting opportunities.

We have a coach to do that he should retire and make way for younger stars to gel into the team before the Afcon don't let Sao tome and principle deceive you

Musa, ekong and Balogun should make way for younger players

Also shehu should be dropped as well

Players like valentine Ozornwafor, John nwankwo, Celtics osaze, Akpoguma should be brought in to see the best possible two to replace again Balogun and worn out ekong while amo and ejike for Musa

Alhassan and Onyedika anyone better should take etebos place for now while he sort his club issue out

Football no be FIFA ranking math. Our opponents were the worse team I have ever seen our SE play if memory serves me right. Our Flying Eagles will beat that team.

But I am happy for the score line it’s good for record keeping.

jihday:
Sure, it's Sao Tome & Principle, 183rd in the world. That takes some of the edge off.

But, and here's the kicker, we played Seychelles (ranked 186th and 189th) over two legs in 2018 & 2019, and did not manage 10 goals in both matches combined [0-3 and 3-1]

I already knew the potential of that young man after his debut game. I was not carried away with the loss to Ghana. He wasn’t perfect but played with a heart of steel. One of the biggest steals we’ve had. I still believe in Aribo. But time will tell.

The Yekini 37goals-record: Osimhen on track

In an interesting breakdown of the Super Eagles goals Stats from the past and the present, I found this in my research:

- In Yekini's first 22 NT caps, he had only 5 goals.

- Yekini went on to bag a further 32 goals in his next 40 caps to finish with 37 goals in 62 Senior NT caps.

- Now New kid on the block, Victor Osimhen is currently on 15 goals in 22 Senior NT Caps.

The race to Yekini's record is definitely on.

Furthermore,

Osimhen finished as Joint Top Scorer of the Afcon2021 Qualifiers with 5 goals. Shared the honors with Patson Daka. Osimhen had more assists though (5).

Now, Osimhen leads the Top Scorer race in the Afcon2023 Qualifiers with 5 goals already!!!

The Monster Machine is cooking. wink

Good practice match for effecting your tactics, right. But don’t conclude they understand yet. A better resistance will put that to good test.

he will break yekini's record. If he went to the last afcon I believe he would hv scored atleast 2 or 3 goals making his total goals 17 or 18 goals

our midfield will be complete when ndidi returns. A midfield duo of ndidi and Iwobi will be dilightful to watch

I hope and pray more creative midfielders are discovered soon

And Dennis too. Dennis has huge potentials tbh if he jams a correct no nonsense coach, I think Dennis will even become more menacing!!! He's two footed, he's fast, his workrate is good, he has a spring in his jump etc.
I saw the combo with Osimhen too. He clicked more with Osimhen that Osimhen with Umar. Umar no just sabi click and e dey vex me.

I believe Dennis will begin seeing more of the net now that he's scored. Unlocked.

Make he maintain that form o. I'll still sit on the fence about him but i loved seeing his old self on today.

The flojo Era was a dope and drug ridden era of the Olympics. Both the US and USSR were competing with each other on who has the best juice grin

Sprint records set during that time go hard to break.

I'm aware. Russia. USA. East Germany.

Nonetheless, the record stands.

I read somewhere that he and Tijani had visa issues, na village people cause am. It would have been a perfect opportunity to make an impression on the new coach, for example now, Semi has already seized the opportunity. I hope Alhassan gets another opportunity.
