maidaboi: Even George Weah only African to win world best player and the president of Liberia, not president of Liberian football association has his child playing for USA. We can teach our kids patriotism but then again who you are is not as much predicated by what your parents teach you, it's largely a factor of the wards internalization of the society you grow up in. That's why I always understand the Nigerian- Greek freak Gianni's Adetokumbo , that's why I can understand Inaki Williams and so many African first generation kids of migrants parentage. The overriding truth is that we cannot deny them their rights too when they choose us as second options. But what I will not tolerate is to choose your African nation as second option only to beneit your short time interest or goals, that's one reason I dissociate from the deeds of players like K.P Boateng of Ghana and Joël Matip who tried to force his way back to the Cameroonian squad after they qualified for the World Cup. I was so happy when Eto dismissed him and didn't consider him. It's one of those decisions Samuel Eto got right. 2 Likes |

jihday: The moment you realized this is a job and should be treated as such No player will find another job paying football wages after they’ve retired Remember their lifestyle comes with a use cost To mitigate this you have to have a brand or be signed to brand None of this which he has now is the time to chase money Because i think his time at SE is over |

typicalgamer:the higher you go the higher your pay, if he keep up his form and get a laliga team next season he’ll probably be on a salary zamalek can’t offer him. It’s different if he has played for a big team/league already and he decides to go and make money, like what Oscar and Hulk did |

fabyom:Before Martinez moving to Man U, it was Romero pairing Otamendi at the heart of their defense and they played so countries with exceptional players without conceding, including Brazil at the Copa final. I just mentioned Martinez because he plays for Man U, he might not bench Otamendi |

And scream bias and they are not good enough. But here we are talking about a player who has done nothing of substance for 7 years 1 Like |
