Super Eagles List don drop oooo: Let the Critique begin

Goalkeepers: Adebayo Adeleye (Hapoel Jerusalem, Israel); Victor Sochima (Rivers United); Olorunleke Ojo (Enyimba FC)

Defenders: William Ekong (Watford FC, England); Calvin Bassey (Ajax FC, The Netherlands); Kevin Akpoguma (TSG Hoffenheim, Germany); Chidiebube Duru (Rivers United); Oluwasemilogo Ajayi (West Bromwich Albion, England); Kenneth Omeruo (CD Leganes, Spain); Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal); Bright Osayi-Samuel (Fenerbahce FC, Turkey)

Midfielders: Joseph Ayodele-Aribo (Southampton FC, England); Alex Iwobi (Everton FC, England); Divine Nwachukwu (Bendel Insurance); Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England); Frank Onyeka (Brentford FC, England)

Forwards: Moses Simon (Nantes FC, France); Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal FC, Spain); Ademola Lookman (Atalanta FC, Italy); Victor Osimhen (SSC Napoli, Italy); Taiwo Awoniyi (Nottingham Forest, England); Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City, England); Ahmed Musa (Sivasspor K, Turkey)

Happy to see Adeleye of Hapoel as GK
I feel he will do a better job than Uzoho and Okoye
The midfield is still too lean!
When will these guys learn Aribo is not a midfielder?
The list is top heavy
It's Sierra Leone so ofcourse we might pull through
But the game will be an eyesore
Zero creativity in that midfield
Looks like we want to play Chuks and Lookman/ Simon from the flanks
Didn't work too well last time

The Divine guy is highly rated in the local scene
Let's hope they give him a few minutes to show what he can do..

Poor list in my opinion
JP can do better

I mean, it's not like we lack midfielders o
we have guys with the right mix of profiles and creative nous
But our coaches' stubborn refusal to work on our midfield has held this team back for years

We don't even need to look too far
Onyedika and Alhassan are doing well in Belgium
Just invite them!!

Simon and Musa should be phased out of this team
It's about time

Nawi o, Ebuehi and Aina missing!!!! shocked
Aina had injuries plagued season but Ebuehi deserves to be in the team…..well Osayi Samuel is doing good if we go by his last two matches for eagles….well am still waiting for a coach that will put Osayi/Ebuehi on the right side and Aina on the left side….cuz I don’t fancy Sanusi and Bassey style of play, their build up from the back is below average.

Jose Peseiro so far is the worst super eagles coach…..Aribo still made it despite very terrible season and what is Musa still doing in the team. The midfield should be thrown open for now, let’s see Onyedika and Alhassan in the midst.

Kelechi Nwakili according to report here had a good season but his poor club didn’t help him.If Onyedika and Alhassan missed out then no need to say much on Nwakili unless Oga Charles you want to troll.

As long as we keep playing 442, Chuks and Lookman will continue to look mediocre in the SE
They are not traditional wingers
Simon might thrive but he's well past his prime and too one directional

Oga having one or two home based should no be yardstick to judge the team but big question does Peseiro able to do justice to the team lacking midfield.

We need to sort out our midfield and revert to 4-3-3
This team has been held back for years because of repeated poor midfield selections

The issue here is the midfield which has been abysmal since Mikel left the stage.

The painful aspect is that we have the right midfield personnel to handle our midfield for the next decade
But our handlers are not interested

Is better we focus on players that are playing in the highest level who will come in straight to the starting 11 to mk a difference

This home base thing is engineered by nff to cut cost

Fair list in my opinion and of course not perfect. Gift Orban should have been invited and if Tella doesn't need a switch, we should be cap-tieing him now.

Ebuehi?
Moffi?

Nobody should complain. Dem say Rohr no good. Our master tactician JP is doing it again. Our job as fans is not to murmur but to support the team and wish for the best.

JP is looking for an extension of his contract, NFF has him by the balls… he will do their bidding for now.

Musa and Omeruo needs to excuse themselves from SE and as for Moses Simon, that one will fade off like Samuel Kalu
