Rinsola Babajide...the new addition to the super falcons. Switches allegiance from England to Naija

Hopefully, she's a valuable addition to the squad.

Let me add that she's a pretty good goal scorer too.

That's great.

That's what the falcons lack right now.

Both of them are average on the ball..
The best way to utilize them is to have creators around them.
They are basically poachers...
Their first touch and back to goal play is average..
Both are less tricky strikers but Osimhen is better.

Aerial threat, grit, fighter, long passing and slightly faster.

I am sorry 😑 I don't agree with you at all.

Erling Haaland is an enigma, from day one he has been outstanding. He is 23 and started playing first team at age 15.

From Red Bull to Borrusia to Manchester City, this enigma Erling Haaland has been killing it like a serial killer.

In comparison V.O. for the first time in his career he became the top goal scorer in a league, last season. It's taken three seasons in Seria A for V.O. to attain this level. And several seasons in Europe to get there.

By COMPARISON Erling Haaland hit the ground running from day one. He has been consistently at the top of the goal scoring charts for the past 5 years and right now he is still ahead.

We're talking about presently bro. Haaland goals are mostly pass and shoot and penalties.

He's being basically spoon fed at City let's be honest.

How many goals has he scored since De Bryne's absence?

Yes Osimhen is not the most technical of players but I think you're under valuing his abilities by just saying he's a poacher.

First you forget his aerial ability. Second even with limited supply Victor is always hustling, struggling trying to get something out of nothing. Look at yesterday and also his game against Madrid despite limited chances he was able to sniff half chances something Haaland rarely does if the supply line is completely cut off.

I remember Thierry Henry commenting about Haaland that yes he's probably the most deadly finisher in the game right now but he needs to modify his game to help the team out more especially if they are not creating that many chances. Lately he's started to look a little lost if the supply line is blocked.

Yeah...
But none of them is creating anything by themselves consistently...
Outside of the box their game play is non-existent...
Intangible tags like hustling doesn't mean much...
Taking the ball, beating a man on the wings or intricate creativity are things Osimhen cannot do.
That's just not the player he is.

A striker's primary work is to score goals. A goalkeeper is to stop goals. Defenders, defend. Midfielders create chances. Ideally a good footballer should do more than his primary duty but if he's doing his primary duty so well in a way that makes him outstanding just as Haaland and Osimhen are, I see no need for this constant craving for more dimensions to be added to their game. Emphasis is on doing their primary duty outstandingly.

Before long now you guys will expect attackers to defend and goalkeepers to attack. All these Jara wey una dey add for modern football - no matter dey salt and pepper, the tweaking and reconfiguration - still ultimately comes to what football is about: score goals and win games. Shikena

*Remember I said there are times in a game when a player may be doing well and still ger changed by his coach. But it doesn't apply here when such a player is your top striker, the soul of your attack and you take him off when chasing a game...

Napoli Legend, Giuseppe Bruscolotti on Osimhen's sub decision by Garcia vs Fiorentina

"Now Garcia needs to come to his senses a bit, I see him in total confusion. Advice from the wise? They can make the coach understand that we need to compete to achieve results. The players don't want to be in charge, but they want to make it clear that this isn't going anywhere. Garcia must convince himself that if he is losing he cannot take away Osimhen"
