this referee is so poor

The officiating is completely an eyesore. Even worse, VAR has refused to review these nonsense decisions by the ref.

So long as Simon and Chukwueze lead our attacking prong we will always be blunt. Those guys are atrocious

It's safe to say that the lacklustre performance of some players in midfield for the Super Eagles is as a result of the coach's formation.

Using a 2 man midfield completely handicaps players especially players like Aribo who are not even physical; even Iwobi struggled in midfield against CIV.

We have won .

In my opinion by the skin of our teeth, it was not easy.

It could easily have gone home wrong

this is the reason why I've been saying that we do not need 4 wingers in the squad.. We do not have good wingers.. We have good strikers that can also play from the wings.. We needed more of our CFs in this squad. The wingers hardly do the basic things wingers should do.

You can say that again

Guys take whatever you want with this

But our wingers can’t dribble and create separation to save their lives

Onyedika is average asf he plays like who’s been told what to do like the guy can’t express himself aside sideway passes

We can’t cross ball to save our lives

I pray this luck keeps taking us further and further amen

Where are JP's defenders??

A narrow win over a poor CIV isn't a biggie.

Bro I’m afraid our wingers are being exposed badly

And this game shows Zaidu shouldn’t be a starter and Bruno should cut back on his failed dribbles and selfishness

Bruno is not HIM at all

EQ Guinea has shown why you must be showing consistent performance in top 5 leagues before you can play for your national team.

Eq Guinea justify scoring us 1st in that 1st game. In a group with Civ and Nigeria, nobody expects they'll outscore everyone and top the group. This officiating is just somehow. Game changed when Iwobi came into the field. But sadly, all the chances were ruined by little details. Osimhen is frustrating at this point. Na Heaven save us. We for draw. Smh. Unimpressive game. Hilarious another game is going to be played tonight on this same pitch.😂😂
