This is good. Hopefully this translates to good outcomes at the Paris Olympics. Our athletes are pushing their limits despite the paucity of support and funding.

We always dominate the short distance races in Africa most of the time..I hope someday we translate it to world dominance... Thankfully, more and more of our athletes are getting into US college teams and doing well in the NCAA

They'll cross it sef. But the least expected of them at Paris in all games is 30medals. They better cross that aspect. I know weightlifting and wrestling will give us a good start.

Sad that we have swimming potential in this country(SS region)but we allowing SA school trained kids to be packing the medals in that category.

Rumor has it that,6 coaches have been shortlisted for the vacant position of Head Coach of the Super Eagles.

Manu Garba may likely be the Head Coach of the national U17 team.

It has been proven that teams armed with modern footballing philosophy with less talents will outclass teams with more talents and less philosophy.

dele bashiru. I thought the guy is a midfielder. Why did they put him in the winger position on the list.

30 ke? na Olympic be this o.

Realistically Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume, 4x100/4x400 relays, and the female wrestlers are our best medal chances.

If the Super Falcons qualify for the Olympics I give them an outside chance of medaling.

our last haul was how many sef? 2 from 60 athletes.
Athletics and Wrestling gave us 17 podium finishes at Commonwealth recently. 30medals will not be overreaching imo. Blessing and Odunayo will get a podium finish this time.

Please you people should not be offended, I don't follow this thread as much and as often as some here.

I just want to ask o, what efforts are being made to try to secure Tosin Adarabioyo?

Especially given Gabriel Osho has withdrawn through injury.

I have a feeling nff is waiting for dis two games to be played b4 naming a permanent coach….if finidi does well,he would b making a strong case for himself and d local coaches who applied …however if he fails woefully…nff might ignore d local ones and go for anoda foreign coach….so make amunike dey pray make him do well .

Paris will be a different kettle of fish as the competition would be way more elite than whatever we have seen in Accra. I expect Team Nigeria to win medals, but I doubt we would win up to even 15 medals in Paris.

With regard to swimming, I’m encouraged by our athletes that won medals in the event in Accra, and I hope the swimming federation and sports ministry will build on this foundation and, hopefully, propel our swimmers to become genuine medal contenders at the 2028 Olympics

Very poor photo ops. This is supposed to be a "board meeting" of the Super Eagles handlers, but nobody carry writing material, tablet or laptop. Just bottle water and vibes.

Where is Porto now ❓

So we should say that Nottingham forest is better than Arsenal because they beat them in the FA cup. When they were in the Championship.

I remember a league two team beating Leicester city in the EPL in the FA cup.

Has Arsenal ever won the champions League?

Porto won it in 2004✌️
