FIFA citing technicalities could be a face saving measure. Same technicalities were breached in the Mokoena case but they still ruled against SA. The DRC case is a very tricky one and any judgement that goes against the result on the pitch requires irrefutable evidence.

Like I mentioned, wouldn't be surprised if FIFA amends their Statutes to provide clarity for future cases.

The big irony for me is the fact that Nigeria helped SA reach the world cup while losing out in the end. We should have allowed Benin qualify instead.
Shebi I said it then that Benin should qualify instead, we would have dealt motsepe a big blow by using our home based players for that match which I suggested here.

We are too purists for my liking in our sports we need to adapt to the modern tactics of psychological warfare! How can Congo and SA be using a whole soccer giant like Nigeria to play kalokalo! 😂 omo we no try the World Cup was already slipping away from our hands then we should have use that Benin match to protest SA playing most of their wcq games at home by just fielding our home based players

Odunayaw:
Fernandez, Otele and Sor on the list.

Osimhen notably missing. Arokodare not able to break back in.

Hopeful Nnadi and the Crystal Palace guy sort out their now regrettable sojourn.
Nnadi will be fine. He will likely establish himself as a regular next season. Uche Otoh should never have joined CP. I heard Como wanted him but he declined. Now Como is doing well in seria A.

E be like Chelle no gbadun Alebiosu. Decent list tbh.
No Ebenezer too.

Nnadi made a massive leap from Belgium to one of the biggest clubs in French football

It won’t be an easy ride for him to start immediately in Marseille but he should be resilient and continue working hard surely he will break through

If possible he should seek for a loan move to a mid table club in France where he will earn respectable playing time to get use to the rigours of the league before returning to Marseille

A short clip of Emmanuel Hernandez
This guy go give Benjamin a run for his money o..
Massive coup for us...
Strong ball playing defender with an eye for goal
This guy and Bassey at the back, orgasms!!

I just feel for Igoh Ogbu
Ajayi can still hold his own

I believe because Alebiosu is just coming back from an injury he copped at the AFCON

Ebenezer can't displace anyone on the team yet
He will be back in the future

Run for his money or better than Fredrick’s? Well we have to wait for his debut first

Fredrick good o
But Fernandez is a massive addition to that backline

no one is doubting if Fredrick is good or not but not that he is better than Fernandez. Both are top prospects but currently Fernandez is rated more because of his display this season in Scotland and the UEL

I get your point

Suddenly our pool of defenders has become super rich once again..

Let's just add 2-3 quality midfielders to our pool
And then Nwabali sorts out his club situation to solidify our goal keepers pool. ...
Team don complete be that

Ebenezer Hacourt or Ebenezer Akinsarimo because Harcourt is not even good enough for the u20 team.

Nwaiwu should have been called up too. Bassey and Ajayi can even take a break. In my opinion, players like Iwobi, Ndidi, Lookman, Simon need a break, those guys have already played way too many games. Nwaiwu, Nnadi, Ebenezer etc would have been good for the tournament in my opinion.

I believe Nwaiwu will get his chance in no distant time. Aside Nwaiwu others you mentioned have barely played games for their respective clubs of late

I think Chelle would hv atleast given a chance to the midfield duo at Slavia Prague, atleast to see if any or even both may turn out to become new asset to the team

Sometimes in these friendlies, the other teams would want your best players, especially as they are world cup bound

I guess Ola Aina was left out because of Forest's relegation fight

Who go come play 2 alongside Osayi?
Abi Igoh Ogbu can play Right back?

What do they bring to the mix?

Can they successfully retire Moses and Ejuke?

Sor is a speed monster and very similar to Ahmed Musa

Otelle is also fast but not as Sor. Skilful and bipedal

I feel one of Tolu or Moffi should have been on this list, especially with Osimhen's exclusion

Now we are left with Onuachu and Akor grin grin
