Well, you can only hope but Beinsport USA ain't showing it. That's what you get by playing a team that ain't going to the World Cup angry

I think for Iwobi to make the team he just have to play from wing cos some one so special is ahead of him as AM and with the absence of Simeon Moses we just need Iwobi more on the wing or what do you think.
in effect what you are saying is that mikel has no substitute? what is wrong with ahmed musa and moses starting and iwobi coming in for mikel?is it something forbidden? has iwobi ever performed from the wings for us? nobody has shown even one, i repeat one single match where he performed for us as a winger.

anyway its in rohr's hand.

Joel Obi is going to Russia for sure. Disregard some of the crazy stuffs you read here, bro.

Joel Obi I know very well. He is not new to the national team. Maybe some were thinking he was Okocha reborn. Joel to me did enough in those friendlies to deserve a place in Russia but definitely not as a starter.

I saw the video of Tuchel emerging from the meeting with Neymar. It had the semblance of a newly appointed ambassador presenting his credentials to Queen Elizabeth at queen's court.
Neymar is in charge at PSG.
Yep. In Emery's recent interview, he said as much. Said Messi is the leader in barca, Simeone in atletico and Neymar in psg

Rohr:
confirms Moses Simon's injury.

He wants to see Simmy and Lokosa.

No room for any player outside the 30 man list.

Rohr just confirmed that Simon is out of the world Cup and that a replacement can only come from the 30man list and not outside.

Petrobros:

They say Iwobi is a flop at the wings, they say he is Ineffective. A player that scored 2 goals in the WCQ when played from the wings position.
They just want to throw a big game player like Iwobi to the bench.
which wing? the goal against zambia was a corner. the goal against zambia in nigeria was from the middle. abeg show me the goal that iwobi scored form the wing? so because you cannot afford to keep him on the bench he should play from a postion where he has serially failed to perform? what is the reason for not playing him in the middle? they say he has no eye for a pass, he lacks vision. all of this things are not true. so what happens when mikel begins to peter out? what happens should mikel be suspended? so mikel has no substitute?

That is an advantage to us because you know you have Iwobi who can replace a tired Mikel though he might not actually play like Mikel but we could see different style and pattern.
nooo its forbidden. play iwobi for mikel and the heavens will fall

My fear that at least one key player is injured tonight is high.

Why not make Ndidi sit this one out ehn?

I'm still on the stance that Iwobi will flourish with Ndidi behind him. He has the sense to go, but I think most people just don't see the maturity or experience. To me, that's what is simply lacking.

But that is their natural position and that is where they play in their clubs.

Because I don't want to believe Rohr will not find a replacement for Simon and go to the world Cup with Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa. That will be unimaginable.

We all know Iwobi flopped many times on that wing and he is not consistent. So, he can't be trusted on the wings except as a SS or AMF.

We also know that Iheanacho has not played well on that wing since Oliseh played him there and when Rohr played him there too though he wants to see him play there again today but I have seen him played there and I don't think he can bring what Victor and Simon bring to the team on the wing. He can't be trusted.

Therefore, I don't expect Rohr to gamble with players who are not known to play a role well in crucial world cup matches.

It doesn't make sense to anybody.

Players must be played to their strength.

Well, today's match will decide the outcome of the list.

Will Iheanacho and Lokosa perform on the wings? If yes, no wahala but if not, make him put Etebor for wing abeg or do the needful by calling a LW from the numerous that did well this season.

Afterall, Lokosa and Simy were never part of the team but they made the team and people here have already forgotten their stance on 'team cheimistry' by clamoring for the inclusion of Simy. grin

Lol@team chemistry. I'm for the idea that we stop experimenting with new players.

As for their club position, I'm no fan of what most of these clubs turn our players to. Mikel is still fresh. He flourished but it stifled his career.
