Easy for us to say...

1)Idowu is the only one amongst the 2 to have scored against Argentina has.
2) Ebeuhi caused a penalty in his last game, Idowu a starter has not caused on yet, this is a big game confidence is needed, Idowu is at home, crowd support.

Idowu will have the mental edge over Ebeuhi. He owned them and even scored against them in tgeir last meeting.

But I think, the list is not accurate becausr I believe Ebuehi will start because of Idowi's Yellow card.

It's best we use Ebuehi as RWB and Moses at LWB. So Idowu can sit on the bench, we need fast attackers/defenders.

Confirmed starting lineup

Nigeria Starting XI Vs Argentina : Uzoho; Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Omeruo; Victor Moses, Obi Mikel, Ndidi, Etebo, Idowu; Iheanacho, Musa

According to whom? There's nothing on FIFA or Super Eagle's page.

Yea, that man strikes me as an overly cautious man. He's forgetting that even though Idowu scored in that game; apples to apples (take away that goal), Ebuehi puts in a better performance in that game than Idowu. Ebuehi was dazzling in that game.

Watch he would introduce Ebuehi in the second half. The man often tends to leave his best cards for the second half. Strange fellow shocked

Bros I support this your statement. But also remember the game against Argentina. Idowu scored. Rohr must be trying to replicate the same situation again, but because Vic Moses and Mikel are around for this game, Vic stays on instead of Ebeuhi and Mikel and Etebo for Ogu and Iwobi.

Can somebody explain to me why Idowu was picked ahead of Ebuehi?.

It is clear to the blind that Ebuehi trumps Idowu in EVERY aspect.

Honestly, I feel like slapping that fool of a German coach.

If we lose today, I place the blame on Rohr, the white Onigbinde.
And he's the one that put is in this scenario. I still maintain that he cost us the first game.

NIGERIA TO BEAT ARGENTINA

Gomez the psychic Gorilla, the animal oracle for the 2018 World Cup, has predicted that Nigeria will beat Argentina in their final Group D match.

The Gorilla was presented with a choice of two bowls of food with Argentinian and Nigerian flags placed next to them.

Immediately it saw the Nigerian Flag it ran to it and smiled and pointed at the flag shouting "Na dem go win, Na dem go win"

Lillian Perez the official handler of the Goriila has confirmed that it maintains a 100% prediction record so far,

Am not comfortable seeing Bryan idowu in the line up; we need that man ebuehi there. He is confident and moves forward, he also as the speed to fast track back that's what the RWB/LWB is all about and not the display from idowu against iceland; he didn't even make any cross.

The line up has been confirmed by official twitter, no changes from the Iceland game. Either Ebuehi plays bad in training or the coach wants a super sub impact.

I don't want to believe the coach is clueless.

This has to be the most anticipated game of this final round of the group stage. No other game has higher stakes

Some months back, pundits said this game would be ceremonial because Argentina would have qualified at this stage. Today, it is a win or bust game for Argentina, the most important game of their lives perhaps....and ours too

Who will come out victorious?

Will Achilles the Cat, maintain his 100% record?

Will Messi and his team mates, disappoint once again?

Will Nigeria break the jinx of never winning Argentina?

Will Mikel Obi finally get one above Messi?

Will FIFA connive with their officials to deny Nigeria?

Will all the magomago against Nigeria be enough to save Argentina?

Will Ahmed Musa continue his scoring streak against Argentina?

Will Ighalo break his goal drought for Nigeria?

Will the young Uzoho finally receive a baptism of fire at the World Cup?

Will Rohr prove his detractors wrong?

Whatever happens today, one thing is certain: There shall be no Bromance between Messi and Enyeama

Interesting, very interesting. Croatia, who are already through, make nine changes from the team that beat Argentina 3-0. Only Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic remain.
Good news for Iceland?

12 L Kalinic
13 Jedvaj
5 Corluka
15 Caleta-Car
22 Pivaric
19 Badelj
10 Modric
20 Pjaca
8 Kovacic
4 Perisic
9 Kramaric

Banega to feed Messi while he does the roaming about. Switching from the right to the left but the left hand side given fully to di mario to handle.
