I am surprised that Alex Iwobi wasn't nominated as well. Iwobi definitely earned a spot both last week and this week. His performance has been top notch so far this season.

O pari

He didn't do enough this last weekend to merit a place.

A left back that can't cross and contributes little offensively. ,how is he comfortable there ? You think Rohr didn't notice the flaw in his game for him to have brought in Collins?

That I said he is comfortable there doesn't put him in the same class as the Mendys and Alonsos of this world

Jesus Christ has no business with football sir. Bring proofs to show his natural position is on the left.

When was the last time he played as a right back?

I can't remember exactly when he last played as a right back but he played right back this year if I'm not mistaken.

This settles it sir

A Cotonou court on Tuesday sentenced 10 players of Benin and an official to prison for age-cheating.

The 10 players who failed MRI in the under 17 tournament and an official were sentenced to jail.. Can we do this in 9ja??

Italian Serie B club Spezia may bid farewell to Nigerian striker David Okereke when the January transfer window opens for business with several foreign teams interested in his signature.

Spezia offered the Football College Abuja product a new deal in August 2018 in order to fend off transfer interest from foreign clubs but this has not stopped his suitors from making fresh enquiries.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, citing Il Secolo XIX, Okereke is being targeted by Standard Liège, Heerenveen and La Liga club Eibar.

Responding to a question about the future of the Nigerian, sporting director of the Little Eagles, Guido Angelozzi said : ''I think this may be the decisive season for him and his career".

Okereke has been a crucial player for Spezia this season, having contributed to four goals in his first seven matches in the Italian second-tier.

He is contracted to Spezia until June 30, 2022 and previously played for Cosenza Calcio and USD Lavagnese 1919.

The 21-year-old is represented by Patrick Bastianelli who used to look after ex-Udinese striker Odion Ighalo on behalf of Atta Aneke.

Being Arsenal's best player doesn't mean he will automatically make EPL 11.

I am really glad Success made it.

I don't know if they were prosecuted on the strength of the MRI aIone. Other investigation into their ages were probably done to prove them guilty beyond every shadow of doubt. That said, Disciplined Implementation of this in Nigeria would help the national team selectors greatly in screening

Not really harsh. Am sure our current laws have stiff penalties against age cheating already. To falsify your age, you either have to swear to a false affidavit under oath or go ahead to obtain a falsified birth certificate. So how ever you look at it, if we interprete the letters of the law and its intent, it 's a criminal offence. But as usual, nobody to enforce and bigger fish to fry.

If that's the duration of the punishment in Nigeria, nothing might change. Some guys would still take the risk. After serving one sentence, they might be back in two years sef.

Dats a lie, Ndidi was within the Range during the qualifiers. Remember a child born in January 2018 and that born in November 2018 are age mates(year wise but not months wise. That was Ndidi's case. He was born earlier than others, but same year wt them.
