Based on what? Facial appearances?

You can tell an under 20 team from facial appearances. We were all 18/19 at some point.

Yes, it is possible to have some players that look older than their age. but when almost the whole team look older then it is suspicious.

If 3/4/5 even 6 players look older, it would not be an issue.

I have been a medical practitioner for close to 10 years now, I can assure you that facial appearances is not a valid yardstick

First of all these players are from the NPFL, let us be honest all the players in the NPFL have had to struggle for most of their lives, so you cannot compare with someone who had a solid family behind him. Like I said facial appearances isn't enough to justify this claim. If you want to show me that they are older then try to find their heights from 5-6 years ago and compare it with their heights now (height not body mass or width) then we can talk.

Lobi has conceded 3 penalties in two games.
Two in this game and one against ASEC. I don't know what is doing them
That's an indication of undisciplined defence

All these are bare faced lies, we have hustling teens around us and many of us have suffered

Stop making it like suffering boys fall from Mars or what, We know overaged guys and it doesn't require medicine to point out

For one person, i will agree, facial appearances matters less. For a team of 21 players, the group picture says a lot. We know how 18-19 year olds look like in Nigeria even with hardships.

I can actually bring pictures of a few other players from 5-6 years ago.

They lost the game against ASEC because of that penalty, it looks like they are about to do the same today.

Where did Wydad get that number organized Nigerian supporters from?

Something tells me they just brought those jerseys and flags/banners and gave to some random guys outside the stadium for them to cheer them and boost their morales grin

Or maybe Michael Babatunde organized them cos one of the banners carried his name.

One major positive from the Lobi game: John Lazarus. The boy is developing. He should be an U23 material.

Also Kayode the goalie was really wonderful. He is a good goalie. Just wish he is a lot younger undecided

They are his supporters. They probably organized all that stuff. I have seen it done before in the league

Only Nasifi Yahaya is perhaps U20 in the Squad.... Others are above 20s, and few are in their late 30s already
With this pics I have seen I must apologize to you and anyone else I have countered about their age!

Ah! I feel ashamed! most of this ones wouldn't even pass for U23

Lobi aren't helping their destiny with these penalties o

I liked that they fought hard, the scoreline didn't do justice to their performance

Your under 20 team by name. They play Burundi today.

Overaged Yoruba team. Let's see how they would succeed.

Until Igbos again, assume leadership in sports affairs, Nigeria will remain a backwater footballing nation.

We all want the best for the National Teams Bruh, but its so saddening we are refusing to learn from the past Experience.

Did anyone expect or predict Qatar to be an Asia Champion?! Against all Odds.... They won the Trophy at the Expense of Japan.

They started from the Scratch. The Tournament highest Goals Scorer with a record-breaking of 9 Goals - Alli - is 22yrs old.

All the best to them. I pray they excel, qualify for the World, star and gain the Attentions of Clubs in Cyprus, Belarus, Slovakia, Belgium, Turkey, Austria and co - as well as get signed up.

Most of them have peaked already, so no need hoping for them to represent us beyond this Grade. I pray Manu Garba would do us proud as usual.
