We all want the best for the National Teams Bruh, but its so saddening we are refusing to learn from the past Experience.

Did anyone expect or predict Qatar to be an Asia Champion?! Against all Odds.... They won the Trophy at the Expense of Japan.

They started from the Scratch. The Tournament highest Goals Scorer with a record-breaking of 9 Goals - Alli - is 22yrs old.

All the best to them. I pray they excel, qualify for the World, star and gain the Attentions of Clubs in Cyprus, Belarus, Slovakia, Belgium, Turkey, Austria and co - as well as get signed up.

Most of them have peaked already, so no need hoping for them to represent us beyond this Grade. I pray Manu Garba would do us proud as usual.

Qatar had a detailed plan to improve their national team starting from scratch. They do not have the kind of talent available in Nigeria.

Already the results are showing. They will have a good team for the world cup.

I have been a medical practitioner for close to 10 years now, I can assure you that facial appearances is not a valid yardstick
Doc..stop this medical practitioner thing...
nobody is arguing it with you...
we all know the truth...those men being paraded as under 20 are way older...

it makes no sense...when we choose to sacrifice success in the long run for immediate gratification....

the essence of this age grade team is to groom players for the future...
if this coaches really wanna do the Right thing they will still achieve success...
in a country of over 200M you can't tell me a serious coach can't assemble a true under 20 team in addition to the possibility of adding up foreign born players....

Lobi aren't helping their destiny with these penalties o

I liked that they fought hard, the scoreline didn't do justice to their performance

I have not been so annoyed with a Nigerian club. What were they doing? They are better than these Moroccans but they gave it away. They can even go to beat them away if they don't panic and the coach doesn't remove Yaya Kone because man dem is too influential. They also need a real centre defender because Kwambe won't cut it.

First of all these players are from the NPFL, let us be honest all the players in the NPFL have had to struggle for most of their lives, so you cannot compare with someone who had a solid family behind him. Like I said facial appearances isn't enough to justify this claim. If you want to show me that they are older then try to find their heights from 5-6 years ago and compare it with their heights now (height not body mass or width) then we can talk.
if you truly watch the npl
you will agree with me...that very few players there let say 1% of them...can be said to be below 20yrs
that league is for men and not for teenagers.....
maybe because back then in Benin I often interact with all this academic guys...and I get to know how someone who is 24yrs will put in 16 years old in his international passport.
when I was still a CCR in a telecom coy...
I once had a customer who plays football for Gateway... he has three birth dates...
he later told me that one was his football age...one his real age.

For us to really check this age issue, league teams must have proper feeder teams starting from under 10, 13, 15, 17 and 20. That way, they can graduate players from one level to the other.

The truth is that older players do not give you any advantage.

I have never been one to criticize the coachs. buy this is the worst under 20 team I have ever seen I mean this look extremely political list I mean they are playing politic with our football
and the overages in this group is very glaring I mean how can Paul not see this
look at that abubaker guy how can a 20 year old have a receding hairline
was it only in the north that they did camping or they couldn't go round the whole country and find young champs to play
Paul aigbodun(i don't care what his surname is) is not fit to be a coach and he shouldn't be anywhere near any team
I said again
there is too much glaring overage and politics about this team I don't have any hopes with them going far

and to think that the lazy coach is a British citizen made me surprised....
one will think he is well exposed not to allow such...
I have come to know that what makes people honest is their values and not because they Europeans or Americans

Some clubs will probably parade overaged players for age grade competitions as well. Many "football academies" do.
As a country we need to rethink our morals. Many of us prefer instant gratification to long term success; it's not just a football thing. Age cheating, cutting corners, deriding people who stand up for what is right, etc are things that are encouraged here. Because we live in a society that does not reward merit, honesty means nothing to us.
The development of Nigeria and the development of Nigerian football are intertwined, our football will not develop in isolation. We need to change how we think just as much as we need infrastructure and restructuring.

Polygamy is a Yoruba thing. Again there's no such thing as tribal card. Africans are tribal folks and, we must remain tribal.

Anyway, It was not tribal when Yakubu Gowon initiated the Nigerianisation policy immediately after the civil war to favor the Yoruba folks who had not lost all their money to the war.

It was also not a tribal card when, Gowon promised to reconstruct and rehabilitate the East, only to start building the national theatre in Lagos.

Truly I saw nothing special in Wydad after seeing their last two matches.
Perhaps this is "inexperience" coming to bite them on the cheek.

I wish they could play all their remaining home game in Benue. If they put in a good show of grit they can pick 4 points out of the remaining 9 and maybe, just maybe get out of their group. Nothing is set in stone in the group yet

Too expensive

Just have 13,19,23

It would be harder for anyone to fool us that way. It would also reduce the need/itch to cut age
