Shehu is by trade a defensive midfielder and that is where he features in his club weekly. I doubt if you can get the best of Ngolo Kante or Matic at RB as they are defensive midfielders. Before we let Shehu go I would think he should be allowed to compete for a spot in the midfield where we are even currently thin.

Agreed without reservation.. Shehu should have been drafted back to midfield after the WCQ....

I don't seem to understand Rohr...during the pre world cup friendly,Shehu proved that he could no longer cope with the RB role especially against non African teams yet Rohr went ahead to start him against Croatia...
If he could drop Idowu for Collins then I don't see why he shouldn't drop Shehu! Aina is currently in form..and if he isn't satisfied with Aina he should try Moses Odubanjo....

Ekong was the one getting turned inside out, go watch the match again. Henry and Shehu did a good job on their flank. If Henry wants to keep playing he better maintain that intensity, there is nothing like getting worked too much, this is a wingers primary job.

If you noticed Collins wasn't exactly bombing forward so you should know this it was by design that the fullbacks kept possession.

I don't have a problem with trying someone else but let us put some respect on that young man's name. His assist got us to the world cup so what you have said is a fallacy. Calling him a liability makes me question your judgment of football players.

[s] Onuachu with a strike to remember. I remember a certain Earthquake2 concluding the young man is a waste, who has flattered to deceive. Utter balderdash. Onuachu has played with confidence throughout the first half as was evident in that top draw finish. And confidence remains a necessary ingredient needed in a striker going forward. While he's not De Lima reincarnated, if he can keep it this way or take it up a notch, even better.
