What Iheanacho suffered at City under Guardiola was lack of regular playing time. Not delivery. He scored sufficiently and had assists in the few games Guardiola gave him.

Rohr was braver earlier. That was when Kelechi was banging in goals. The conservative play came after the South African loss, that was after he took risks by fielding Awaziem in defence. After that, the fear came in and it has not been the same after that.

What you wrote up there does not contradict my point.

All this conservative system u are using as an excuse for Nacho doesn't add up for me.

Suarez has been playing in an Ultra defensive Set up in Uruguay for a long time how has it affected his performance in his clubs.

Same with C Ronaldo whose Portugal team under Santos is based on Solidity. How has it affected thier performance.

Just admit Iheanacho has flopped dis past season

Meaning we are going to the AFCON with an unfit striker in Odion Ighalo.

This is totally not acceptable. Simon was dropped from the WC squad because of injury now it is Ighalo's turn and nobody is saying anything.

Not as if he is a Mohammed Salah or Sadio Mane.

Call me an Ighalo hater if you like but I will always say what is right or wrong. Rohr has just lost my respect with this one. Period!

Make that an injured striker and an injured goalkeeper. Let us just say they are his favourites instead of using the 'B' word

Who said he was injured? The coach is doing the right thing. It's not because the doctor says a player is healthy that you rush him back. Look at Durrant ending his career in the NBA because he was rushed back, the coach wants to be sure. This way Ighalo is fresh to go for the afcon proper.

Chairman, the fact remains that he is not fully fit for this AFCON which is just a week away.

U said we should not rush him back meaning u are very aware that he has been out injured.

A player that only resumed training yesterday. And u know how physically tasking the African Game can be.

Well I have said my own.

NFF is not there yet. At least they have a goal to be completely independent of the Sports Ministry. They never claimed they didn’t need the support of the ministry. We also have other sports in the country. How well are those associations doing to fund themselves? Do u turn ur back completely on the one that is trying? Is it not to the country’s benefit if most of the associations are self funded?

NFF should gain full autonomy before disrespecting their sponsor.

I think you need to understand the point. In an offensive system, a forward with mobility and accurate finishing will register brilliant stats. That is a high quality performance. Take the player from that set up and put him in a defensive one, the quality of his performance will diminish. That is what you guys call losing form, meanwhile it is the system that caused the drop in quality.

Take Suarez performance under Brendan Rodgers and Enrique, you will see insane goal and assists stats. Put him in an ultra defensive set up and you will see his performance will not be up to scratch. It is simple logic. Nothing hard.

More chances created gives more goals.
Less chances created gives less goals.

Nacho is built to thrive on chances created. Shakespeare, Puel and Rohr (currently) did not create such atmosphere.

You can not say flop when he was not given a regular run of games.

Finito.

You are looking at skills and ball movement. In decision making and positioning, Foden is on a very high level. We'll, they play different roles.

By the way, didn't south Africa beat Nigeria in Nigeria?

Didn't lowly Zimbabwe draw Nigeria in Nigeria?
