A highly disappointing display by the SE
If Rohr has a plan to get to the finals then he has started on the wrong footing
Our MF is in shambles defence is porous and the goalie is erratic
Like I said b4 the start of the AFCON Nigeria do not look like a finalist

Pls shift!!!

Ola aina is baller, chukwueze phenomenal, omeruo showed he is here to stay.

Ighalo got it right the second time, we forgot he couldnt trap the ball musa gave him earlier, but nice goal today.

Nations cup don start

Is uzoho even better ?

The akpeyi guy lack confidence sha and very nervous

But are you sure If uzoho is in the post we will not concede today ?

If there is no akpeyi my best bet is ezenwa

No one is talking about the team's passing accuracy. To me, their possession, pass accuracy, and offensive play have improved.

Candidly, Ola Aina is an upgrade to Jamilu Collins. He's very offensive and contributes massively to the attack.

Yes, you may say it's Burundi, but the team really tried. We can only hope they improve in the final third and the sick players recover rapidly.

Overall, an interesting match!

not when the coach took iwobi to the wings and benched musa and ighalo and choose to play the tall striker who barely poosition well and know how to use his head

Don't really know what is on Rohr's mind.but if we had started with our best 11 ,they would have tired out by 2nd half based on the high temperature in Eygpt.

I am sure by the time they fully acclamatize ,we can start seeing our best legs starting .Remember a player fainted due to dehydration.

I am a fan of Mikel Obi but I just noticed something.
Ever since Mikel came back to the team, we haven't scored a goal. We scored when he substituted lol.
N:B- I don't have anything against him. Just saying.

Aina is no upgrade to Jamilu

Both have had their good and bad matches

If VAR was used from start of the tournament our goal would have been cancelled. Ighalo was off when Aina passed to him; well thank God for the victory.
No small teams in Africa again oo
Modified: He wasn't off afterall

Good win. We worked for it but we were great second half.

Mikel needs to either play as a regista or be benched. He brings a calming presence to the side but we need that further back.

-Iwobi is a 10. That is where he should play from now on. With the emergence of Samu, we don't need him out wide.

- Our front 4 should be Ighalo with Musa - Iwobi - Samu behind. Onyekuru as back up to Musa with Simon and Kalu competing with Samu.

- Line up today wasn't bad. Player roles was an issue. Etebo should've played further forward to make runs in behind instead of Mikel who lacks mobility.

- Musa had a great cameo. Will be obviously starting the next match. It's great we can bring in someone similar like Onyekuru from the bench.

Onauchu was underwhelming but we didn't utilize his height. He didn't get too many crosses to be far. Ighalo is still by far the better option.

Good 3 points and well done to Rohr. His only mistake was starting Mikel as a 10. His subs were spot on and at the right time.
Bring on the next game...

Comot sentiments. Etebo had a good game.
It wasn't Mikel's day

Replace Akpeyi with Uzoho, replace etebor with
Mikel. Very happy with chukwueze, iwobi, musa and Ighalo combination
