This guy it seems is finally getting football brain and finishing.

Prior to this game 49 games and 1 goal.

Meanwhile this guy is probably the fastest player in the EPL. Today the guy cancelled Raheem o mean he was playing as a RB and beating Raheem. First time I have seen that.

This is why the EPL in my opinion is the most competitive and best league in the world. Because anybody can beat anybody.

Hmmm you have a point thou bt i disagree with the bolded

Mine is very simple.

Outstanding consistent top class performances in league and club.

Viv Solomon-Otabor was anonymous in general everywhere he has played in England. He is not better than a multitude of players across Europe.

I ask and i need sincere answers

Is nwakaeme not better than this guy?

Is igboun not better than this guy?

is ejuke not better than this guy?

Didnt they play in a better league than this guy?

But many of them here speak badly about the turkish but rohr gave them bulgaria league

Agreed without too many question ❓ ❓ ❓

Why why when a player has been largely anonymous in both the Championship and league one. Decides to go to Bulgaria that tells us something, he lacks quality.

Maybe it could be explained with the small matter of his Uncle Thompson Oliha.

But He was in league one when Aidy Boothroyd invited him to U21 side which he declined.

I prefer a 23 yr old otabor to a 40 yr old Nwakaeme. Atleast the former still have a chance to make something tangible out of his career. Nwakaeme ko!

Deal with the invitation bro

Many of you hate nwakaeme and others good forwards but rohr gave you otabor

The thing weak me o. An English flop that played on loan in a lot of Championship and league one clubs yet ended in Bulgaria , tells you something the guy is shit. They just want to use the call up to give him exposure so that he can get better club.

Rohr is clearly compromised. I suspected it since the Maduka Okoye call up, but this particular Otabor call up just confirmed it for me grin
lolz lets hope he comes good sga

You have no point as usual, typing like a kid always

Deal with it, bulgaria issa better league to you

Keep on celebrating mediocre just because the guy was not born in naija as usual

I hope hating a player puts more money in your bank account because thats what you are good at

Can you show me a national team that doesnt have a 30 year old? even if na one, maybe having a 30 year old in a national team issa crime

Your mentality is very low

U no go talk so if na Keshi.
Truidstar:

I am not the NFF nor am I Rohr. If we were playing 2 friendlies I would understand what all the fuss is about. There is time for every player to get a chance to prove himself. We can only field eleven at a time. The great Westerhof between 1990-1994 used and tried over 200 players before we had our best 23.

Maybe Rohr is making a case for players who pledge for Nigeria and turned down the other country outright. grin

Mujtahida:

Bro, I like street honed footballers but the bolder is not true in today's football. While I agree with you that the things you learn on the streets, no Gaurdiola can teach my point is that Gaurdiola teaches is what modern football needs. So all the street football as good as it to you and me, is simply superfluous except the player gets prized away quickly from the streets.

Where did Pele and Maradona hone their skills? On the streets.

But Messi and Ronaldo were taken away from street football quite early.

That's my point.
Just to point out that even Pele and Maradona spent time with recognised junior teams while growing up and not necessarily street football.

Your point is very valid. A lot of teams long time ago started educating their players at a very young age in more professional ways than relying on street football.

Pele:
He played for several amateur teams in his youth, including Sete de Setembro, Canto do Rio, São Paulinho, and Amériquinha. Pelé led Bauru Athletic Club juniors (coached by Waldemar de Brito) to two São Paulo state youth championships.

In his mid-teens, he played for an indoor football team called Radium.
Indoor football had just become popular in Bauru when Pelé began playing it. He was part of the first Futebol de Salão (indoor football) competition in the region. Pelé and his team won the first championship and several others.

Maradona:
At age eight, Maradona was spotted by a talent scout while he was playing in his neighbourhood club Estrella Roja. He became a staple of Los Cebollitas (The Little Onions), the junior team of Buenos Aires's Argentinos Juniors. As a 12-year-old ball boy, he amused spectators by showing his wizardry with the ball during the halftime intermissions of first division games.

The Otabor fella, was on the standby list that was unreleased by the NFF. I don't understand what all the hue and cry is all about. Like I stated before, Rohr will start with his best team and make few substitutions against Brazil, especially when the game is going well for us. Some folks preferred players would not even lace their boots on that day.
How can Otabor be on the standby list before Ejuke?
Kid hasn't done ish to justify this. Unless you're saying we are capping him for the future in case he comes good.

It's a rare occurrence but I have to agree with you....when I read this guy was called up to replace Kalu I thought maybe April Fool joke...but it's October! Shocking. I am disappointed because it shows as fair as our selections have appeared to be they are still being influenced from 'inside'

A local coach doesn't stand a chance controlling the super eagles. I AM ANGRY!!

Just because a player on secondary list is invited because of an injury you are talking nonsense

Better,10 games with 0 goals and assist is too bad for a winger in a lowly rated league like d Bulgarian league, even stephen eze that is a defender in d same league scored a brace d other day.
