Yobo of all people?
Even, some people here can analyse football better than him.
This people should not mess up our national teams o. That is the only thing that we still find solace from, in this country.
BTW, somebody check if Rohr is planning to leave....

Odegbami didn't say Yobo should be appointed the team coach straightaway..he said that should be after be has undergone the necessary training...
As in he wants the NFF to sponsor Yobo for a training course to prepare him to take charge of the super Eagles..

I am sure Yobo can sponsor himself for any coaching course if he wants to be a coach.

Denizlispor have confirmed the signing of Nigeria international Eddy Onazi from Turkish Super Lig rivals Trabzonspor.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning midfielder has put pen to paper on a one-and-a-half year contract with Denizlispor, with the club having an option for another year.

Denizlispor were promoted to the Turkish top-flight at the end of the 2018-2019 campaign by virtue of winning the TFF First League last season.

Onazi spent three and a half years at Trabzonspor, and departs the club after 79 appearances in all tournaments.

An Achilles tendon rupture injury he suffered in December 2018 limited his appearance sin his last one year with Trabzonspor.

The defensive midfielder started his professional career abroad in Italy with Lazio and played domestically for My People FC and Junior Elkanemi, the grassroots clubs that produced John Obi Mikel, Chidozie Awaziem and Joseph Akpala.

Subject to approval from the Federation, Onazi could make his league debut for Denizlispor when they take on Galatasaray on Sunday, January 19.

TSG Hoffenheim have announced through their official website that German-born defender of Nigerian descent, Kevin Akpoguma has committed his future to the Bundesliga club.

The new deal will keep the former Germany U20 captain at Hoffenheim until at least the end of the 2023-2024 season.

Akpoguma joined Hoffenheim in July 2013 after stops at Rot-Weiß Speyer, Schwarz-Weiß Speyer, FC Bavaria Wörth, FC Neureut 08 and Karlsruher SC.

Commenting on his new contract, Akpoguma told the club's official website : "I always like to emphasize that I find the perfect environment for me in Hoffenheim and, accordingly, I am grateful for the trust placed in me".

Director of Professional Football, Alexander Rosen added: "Akpo is an extremely determined player who has developed into a reliable Bundesliga professional through our U23 and two loan clubs.

"He is a strong character, with a clear head and outstanding mentality. Akpoguma embodies the type of modern defender - with incredible athleticism.

"His signature is a clear commitment to the TSG and its path."

Including two appearances in the UEFA Champions League, Akpoguma has played 43 matches for Hoffenheim's first team since making his professional debut.

They fought to buy him and they didn’t use him

I wish this treatment was given to one of those white British players and not lookman

As far as I am concerned dude is not a flop ,you paid huge sum for him after he impressed in his previous loan spell ,then you fail to use him ,if Na Epl dem go don call am flop

Newcastle should pay they money ,after all they bought fraud joelinton for almost 40 million , a striker they could not score more than 9 German league goals, maybe because he is Brazilian ,someone that will be lacing iheanacho boots

Well he did tell super Frank that he would love to be his assistant after retirement. I am more interested in him doing that job. I think the problem we have is that most our assistants are either head coaches or have the aspiration of becoming one. We rarely have the guy who just wants to play his position

Let's discuss good about our NPFL clubs oooooo

grin grin grin grin

I kinda like the geographical spread of the players playing for the different clubs

From the scorers, I can see northerners in South Eastern clubs

Yorùbá ìn the south southern teams

I'm very sure the trend cuts across the length and breath of the country
