Sad sad news. An NPFL player died on the pitch today.

This is the sad reaction of his teammates after hearing the news of his passing. This is just a f*cking disgrace. May his soul rest in peace.

TheGoodJoe what did you say Gundogan offers to this Man city side?

He has already lost the ball 4 times in 20 minutes

"He's so intelligent as a player,"

"One of the qualities I appreciate the most for my players is being intelligent, understanding everything that happened in the game, during the game and solve it - offensively, defensively, as quick as possible.

"He can play in many roles. When he plays close to the box, he's a guy who scores goals and has personality.

"I didn't expect after one year, two years he would be so consistent as a holding midfielder, defending that position. He's an exceptional player, honestly. He's one of Europe's best players, in fact."... Guardiola on Gundogan.

If you watch Gundogan from a tactical perspective, his reading the game, finding himself in open spaces (today, watch how many times he raised his hands signalling he was free.

One of the chances we missed, I can not remember who missed, you will see his meticulous use of Space in the box.

He covers gaps to win the ball and provides lots of opening during build up plays. Losing balls under pressure does not change the massive work Gundogan puts into play.

And loic Remy scores? I complained earlier that starting both Osimhen and Remy has been limiting Osimhen goalscoring prowess and if Osimhen doesn't realise early and Remy continue to score more than him, when it comes to taken off a striker maybe 10-20mins to the end of lille matches, Osimhen would becoming the one to always been sub off instead Remy as it's now

Oga I am not the Coach, you are.
I am speaking as a Nigerian who has genuine love for his fellow countryman and wishes every fellow Nigerian well. These white coaches can be funny, a single mistake from black players or lose of form and they will start benching the black players and that's the least I wish for Osimhen who isn't just a Nigerian like me but also a brother (same tribe)

I did. We dominated possession a lot which Gundogan played a big part in. Our problem did not come from possession or build up plays but us jot breaking down the opposition in the final third. Mostly wrong choices in the final ball.

Ighalo was a super bloke today, saw few minutes of action, but, left a mark. His movements, first touch and hold up play(especially the one that resulted to a goal) were superb.

Dude is looking like a player reborn

is Loic Remy not black as well?

You should wish Osimhen the best, but not at the detriment of another blackman. There is enough space in the sky for birds to fly, na hustle everybody dey try hustle, let us not lose face of that.

Remy being on thepitch, should not be interpreted as a detriment to Osimhen. Let us hope they thrive together, no need to think negatively of another man that also needs to advance his own career.

ighalo's hold up play is out of this world. He as a good positioning and Alot of confidence, not forgetting his EpL experience.

Odion ighalo his/was one of the best super eagles strikers of all time.

One thing i hate here 8s the way you guys downgrade and talk down NIGERIAN players just to promote your top players or favorite player of other countries.
Truth is, it sucks. I've never have the time to say something but, it sicks real big.

Ighalo is better than Martial 1million times, and you cannot change that Sir.

And for the goal, that was no big deal. He's been rubbish before now.

Every Nigerian player both home based and village based, is better than Martial, Rashfod, and every other overhyped British pauper some of you price dearly here.
