I am interested in the goat rearing biz.

I tried my hand on the northern ones and i really regreted my action.They don't do well here.I dont know how the mallams do it but the southern ones i.e west african dwarf perform very well.0706285156

I f u want to breed d northern goats d only. way out is to cross with d western goats then u get a good breed, goats don't like cold or wet weather
there is a govt farm in Ogun state with very Good results on cross breed with SA tall goats

i kp and understand the northern goats well n cross breed wit d western goat. they give birth to very good kids, tall like d northern goats n fat like d western goats..
i understand their diet well n know how to gradually change their diet to d western goats diet. diet is d major problem wit northern goats n not just weather. of u need d clues, contact me. av bn doing dis for about 8yrs now and am gd @ breeding goat.
i know d necessary medication for gd productivity.
