You want to arrest Tompolo; you want to silence Dokubo, yet you rely on their oil to finance your padded budget, who does that?

the people in that area should be notified now that one soldier in uniform equal 10 civilians, so that when the soldiers start their own, there should be no complain o except the figure exceed 20.

No wonder the whole South South is a huge mess! You complain of lack of development, yet you kidnap expatriates who were sent to undertake developmental projects. Foolishness! If you want to construct road in the Niger Delta and you are light skinned, you will need 100 armed military men to guard you. Tufia! Greedy and self-centred people. Oya, kontinue kidnapping. Instead of you guys to go to Otuoke and kidnap that drunkard who had 6 years to fix your region but decided to supervise 'theifery', you are busy kidnapping oyibo, kontinue!

D TRUTH HURTS...

IS THERE ANY STATE OF EMERGENCY IN BAYELSA?

IS THERE ANY IN RIVERS?

D ANSWER IS NO!

NOW,

WAT OF AGATU COMMUNITY?

ENUGU?

AND ALL THOSE PLACES RAMMAGED BY FULANI HERDSMEN,

HAVE THERE BEEN ANY STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED?

NO!

DAT IS D ANSWER!

WHY?

U STATIONED AND ASSIGNED MILITARY MEN IN AREAS DAT POLICE SHOULD BE ASSIGNED,

THEREBY MAKING OUR MILITARY LOOK CHEAP,

INSECURE,

ODD,

LOSES RESPECT,

LOSES THEIR PRIVILEGE.

I HONESTLY BELIEVED DAT MILITARY SHOULD ONLY BE CALLED UPON WERE THERE IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY.

LIKE IN D CASE OF AGATU,ENUGU AND E.T.C.

BUT D REVERSE IS D CASE.

IF U ARE QUARRELLING WITH UR NEIGHBOUR,

HE CALLED HIS WAEC/NECO/GCE/OND MILITARY RECRUIT SON AND BEFORE U KNOW IT,

U ARE IN D BARRACKS,

SUFFERING.

DAT IS UNAUTHORIZED DETENTION,

AND IT IS PUNISHABLE BY LAW.

IF SUCH CASE MOVED TO COURT,

SUCH SOLDIER WILL BE REPRIMANDED,

COURT-MARTIAL,

AND,

EXPELLED.

ITS ONLY WHEN D COUNTRY IS UPSIDE DOWN,

DAT SUCH RARE AND DEADLY PRACTICES IS CARRIED OUT.

NOW,

WAT IS HAPPENING?

AS A SOLDIER,

U TOOK AN OATH TO PROTECT D CIVILIANS THROUGH WHICH THEIR TAXES U GET PAID,

AT D END OF D DAY,

U ARE BEING COMMISSIONED,

RIGHT THERE AFTER GETTING COMMISSIONED,

U FORGET UR PROMISE,

ONLY TO HELP FULANI HERDSMEN IN THEIR EVIL PROPAGANDA,

because U SEEK FOR POWER AND FAME.

WAT WILL BECOME OF YOU?

U ARE AS HELL DEAD TO D PEOPLE AND TO MORALITY.

SUCH ACTIONS IS PSYCHOTIC.

AND PEOPLE WHO DO IT IN D MILITARY ARE GITMO WANNABES.

D ARE MOSTLY PEOPLE WHO ARE CONTROLLED BY POWER.

AS A SOLDIER,

I WANT TO BE THE CHANGE I WANT TO SEE IN OTHERS.

Nigeria is too big, too rich, too important and too black to survive with the small and paltry equipped army we have. Compare Nigeria economy and significance to that of South Africa and then compare the military. Compare Nigeria size and significance to that of Algeria then compare the military. There does not appear to be any significant rearming of the army since this new government came to power and with the illusionery lull in
significant activity of Bokoharam, one senses the government would like nothing better than to breath a sigh of relief and not bother at all with recommendations to beef up Nigerian security, which everyone sees glaringly and advice is required.
Dude, you seem not to have a good grasp of what transpired. What happened has nothing to do with equipment, but has everything to do with the element of surprise. Given the same circumstance the American Navy Seals would have gone through what those Nigerian soldiers experienced. The dudes were ambushed. Period. No matter how highly trained and better equipped you are, if you walk into an ambush carefully orchestrated by even street thugs, you will be taken by surprise. Its not about Bihari at all.

The Nigerian Army should now station themselves permanently in most of the Niger Delta communities. This is their job and woe betide any militants disturbing the peace. It would be interesting to know the real losers here but I think it is more pain for the Niger Delta people but it cannot be avoided. We need to spend at least 200 million dollars arming up and clamping down on these miscreants.
