In 1946, 18-year-old war hero Roy Vickerman split from his fiancée Nora Jackson after suffering from shell-shock. He had since regretted losing his true love. Seven decades later, Roy decided to locate Nora with the help of a local radio station. To his delight, he discovered that she only lived two miles away and was currently single.
