how could our ancestors be near the ocean without residing on the beach lines?

I think that those creeks that are not actual lands which was sand filled by the ijaws should be destroyed. how can some people claim possession of natural waters?

Why can't we just live in peace. Taa! let the Ijaw be. We are just being driven by cupidity.

No matter how much we want to unite with our neighbours we must always know our boundaries and differences so that we will stop receiving insults from these small minorities. I think we have belittled ourselves too much.

we can't just eliminate our differences by just pretending it doesn't exist
people don't change and that's a fact! once a cheat always a cheat. they have always made their stance known in 1967. there fathers have a stance already if opportunity presents itself today their sons will make the same.

OP, do not discuss things bigger than you. I'll advice you go to sleep now. Igbos and Ijaws have one common problem now. Until we solve that one we shall never listen to any nonesense from any nobody. Agents of dissension keep off.

they are minority we are not equals. we have dragged the name IGBO to the dust too much because of trying to ally with minorities.

[size=13pt]Igbo clowns not happy that the attention is not on them anymore in the wake of the Fulani problems and the current administrations seeming failures with fuel and electricity.

They need ridiculous arguments to erupt around the items of their thieving desires because without the arguments, they cannot steal. The same way they argued about land on benches or stools arranged in semi-circles over the ages (as that was the only way the party who knew he did not own the land saw as available to him for stealing it) they bring that primitivity into our modern age.

The people of the south-south way back centuries ago, were not even that primitive in their dealings. Transactions were made and recorded.

I like to say that as a naked African/Papua New Guinea chief came out to greet his white visitor in his proud and naked glory, so also these Igbos don't know how they dishonour (more like disgrace) themselves before our very eyes when they come out like this.

Just as the chief would not have understood if his foreign visitors tried to explain to him that he was naked, it means totally nothing to these Igbo folks that their balls and everything else are out in the air

[size=13pt]Did you see how a handful of minority white men came and colonized a majority Africa?
You see, the minority Red Indian African nations did not know who was really minority/majority.
They looked at their body size and thought they were majority.
They looked at their automahauks and that they white man's pistol was minority.
When the cards were down, every colonised region from the Americas through sub-Saharan Africa knew who was
minority and who was majority.

Unfortunately, you still think it is a numbers game.

Now tell how can a people who it is the white man that came and created chiefs for, be a majority over a people the white man had to pay taxes to in order to do business in their area or use their ports?

Inferiority of organisation as a people has run within you through the years (even before the white men came).

Sorry. Your problem is not with others. It is within yourselves. Go and clean up and organise your house from within -
like normal people do.

Two things here is that
1. Op has a high possibilty of not been an igbo and is coming with two to six moniker to claim igbo and ijaw at the same time.
2. Op derives joy seeing igbos fail hence is on a devious mission of causing problems for the igbos.
So everyone should wise up and expect more of similar thread.

Na only Igbo person way never stay for South South dey consider them as brothers. These guys see us as greedy across the naija person yet some igbos go dey here dey claim paddy paddy with them. When the chips are down, a typical South South Man will easily choose to align with any part of the country instead of south east.

The problem between Igbos and neighbouring southern tribes is that they hardly come together, sit and deliberate on the way forward. Hardly Ever! As a connsequence, little issues that would easily be trashed out keep recurring with both sides pointing accusing fingers at each other. God help us.

you have no superior argument. the Igbo nation has always been in the fore front of activism against injustice since to time immemorial. what do you need an oppressive monarch for? even without monarchs and oppressive government wasn't the Igbo society organised? wasn't there law and order in the Igbo society? that same Igbo individualism and democracy is that not what america, Britain, Germany etc abandoned their monarchs for? even your foolish country is practicing democracy. the warrant chiefs was introduced to exploit the Igbo nation not because we were not organized. like I told you you lack the intellectual capacity to argue in politics, just move to romance
