Going back to your boyfriend after a year is like the Biblical "going back to eat your vomit". But really it predicates on how the relationship halted earlier. However, no matter how it may have ended, why did it take y'all both so long to know you have to enact and rekindle the passion into the already dilapidated relationship? To me that doesn't look healthy. If it's distance, what guarantee do you have that what happened earlier won't come to play itself out again? If it was some other thing else, how sure are you that it'll all work out for the better than it used to be? Working out a broken marriage looks way easier than working out a broken relationship when you've never been married; that tells why there are many couples who got married, divorced and got married again -- some still sustain the relationship while some went into decadence after a few years. The concept is, when a relationship is broken for that long a period, it's not advisable to go back to such man. I maintain however, that it all depends on why you broke up previously. |
