Please Help A Brother…I newly married this beautiful young lady in her late 30’s, and was shocked with what i saw with my eyes the first night of our wedding,she ended up messing up my newly purchased bed which i bought to appease our marital life,Had i known she was a baby adult,i wouldn’t have gone into this marriage with her…No wonder she wouldn’t agree to sleepover at my place while we were dating,,,i never knew there was a skeleton in her cupboard.After i noticed the drained bed on our first night together,She ended up giving an excuse that maybe she had drank so much water during the day/stressful day. Ever since, she as been urinating on the bed, We end up going to spread our bed outside everyday to get heated by sun…I believe our neighbors would have started suspecting something of such nature due to the usual sunning of the bed….Fellow Nairalanders, I love this lady and i cant afford to loose her..Our marriage is just a week old..

Please Advise me on what to do because i am really out of my mind presently…..

Bro please don't allow your neighbors to know about it rather the best thing you can do for now is to get her a rubber bed spread so that if such thing happens, it wint soak the bed. See man,this is not ordinary o.Two things involve call her parent attention to give you the hidden part this or consult spiritualist with your wife and let them pray or give you something to use to overcome the irritating habit. U are an adult so I believe u should b able to handle this maturely n not by putting this out here tho there'd nothing wrong in asking for advice. I'll strongly suggest both of u talk about this to find out the cause n therefore look for a solution as there are many ways this can be solved. One of the ways is by making sure she urinates b4 going to bed n avoid taking too much liquids b4 bedtime. Also u can wake up at intervals to check. I know this is difficult but she's ur wife n u married her cos u saw something in her so u'll hv to make sacrifices. Trust me after these are some of the best ways to go about this cos eventually after close monitoring she will stop bed wetting. In the mean time I suggest u get a rubber to put under ur bed spread to prevent d foam from absorbing d urine this way u won't hv to sun the mattress,u'll only hv to wash the bedsheets

I really feel some people are just daft, the kind of things they decide to hide till they get married really thrills me. How can one hide something that will eventually be brought to light, or does she feel getting married to him would make her stop urinating? I dont just get some people sometimes. It's just like a lady who can't concieve due to numerous abortions and decides to keep it from her fiance till they get married #WhatDaF**k

Ask her to watch her water intake during the day especially late afternoon/evening, while on ur path, try waking her up like 3-4 times throughtout the night, with this ur problem is solved

I know how you feel bro. But even at this my tender age, I wouldn't take a picture of my wife in such condition and upload it on this platform, no matter what. It would just look as if I was embarrassing myself. How would she feel if she gets to see this? Well, I pray that God will intervene and deliver her. Remain blessed!

Strong matter, hmmm, don't even know how to deal with such, asking her to control her water intake during the day, she ain't a kid,she should know better...Brov you're in it already try and deal with it the best way you can but if symptoms persist after at most 1year, brotherly weight other options

@OP there's nothing spiritual about it. What she is called nocturnal enuresis. Though its far more common in children, it can occur in adults due to a variety of reasons including genetic (if one or both parents had it), infections, poor bladder control, hyperactive bladder, etc. She should see a doctor.

You are into this together... Seek medical and spiritual help together... This is your cross man...carry it.

First, go see a doctor, you can go to a general hospital in your state. She should take less liquid from 5pm. Try to determine what time of the night she would likely pee on the bed and wake her up before that time for her to use the toilet. Get two single beds(6*4) and join them together as one, let her always sleep on her own bed. Pad up her bed with a thick canopy like material so the urine doesn't sip into the foam. She should sleep naked and not this dressed up to bed to reduce the number of items to wash if she pees. You can get thick blankets to absorb all urine and wash daily. Pray about it, there is nothing impossible with God.
