He should have even taken longer. Nigeria's system is broken. We had many ministers for power for instance but Buhari met a country in black out. There were many petroleum minsters but the first thing they embarrassed him with was 2billion dollars owed to marketers . All refineries were down and Nigeria was bleeding 3billion dollars momth.

Having spent almost a decade contesting, one would have expected that he would hit the ground running as soon as he won believing that he had enough time studying Nigeria's problems all these years, but unfortunately the reverse is the case. He has no clue of how to solve the problems he met on ground rather, he is compounding the problems. To even sustain what he met on ground is a problem now.

The problem, my friend, is that you don't really know what is good for you. You expect him to hit the ground running by just continuing in the old ways. Have you ever wondered why buildings have foundation? What Buhari is doing is akin to laying foundation for a more orderly Nigeria. No pain, no gain. Everybody ìs feeling the effects of it, even his party because he disallows frivolous spending. We just need to endure a little more. The 2016 budget, hopefully, will bring some relief to us all. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
