So I have been using the MIUI 9.2.3 global stable update for some weeks now.

In terms of the pros or advantages, it feels smoother and faster, has a lot of appearance improvements and a few additional features.

In terms of the cons or disadvantages, RAM usage is like MIUI 8 days, hovering around 60-65% even when nothing is open. IDK why.

By the way, anybody knows how to stop this constant reminder to change keyboard?

Though I stand a chance of being corrected. I have used the email registration option when I was not receiving verification code while using a phone number.

I will advise u quite the mi account creation page and try register again to see if the email option will come up. If it doesn't, u can use the below link as alternative via ur browser, after which u just login to ur mi account using ur phone.

https://account.xiaomi.com/pass/register

Use ur email address to do that..

The truth be told, pressing a phone while charging it reduces the charging speed, and increases the temperature of the phone, which can have bad effect on the battery life. Its always advisable to operate the phone lightly while charging.

When u don't press the phone, is the charging speed ok?
Yes, its okay... Works perfectly..

The note 5 pro is the better option here, prolly cost $250 or a little shy of $250.

This confirms the assertion that Redmi 5 plus is the Note 5.. maybe this same Note 5pro will be launched as Note 5 in China.

Yeah, maybe. Looking at the spec sheet there is no support for band 7,maybe the Chinese variant will have it and possibly a band 20 for another market.

On the contrary am not about the pricing, they should revamp their design from the days of Redmi 3. Pricing doesn't affect design most times.

Huawei honor 7x, Huawei honor 9lite are all within the $200 bracket with good design. So you see it really doesn't affect pricing like you claim.

Redmi note 5 pro will surely pass d 200$ mark...... Na there d wahala go de

Well the Redmi note 5 pro will be above $200. The cost of materials are going up and so will pricing.

How is it wahala? With all the supposed specs, do you still want it to be below $200? That's why there are options from $89-whatever the price of the Redmi note pro will be.
