It can't be permanent cos that's the way notifications work on miui phones with notches.

Xiaomi Devices released this year that currently support band 28 are Mi 9 Global Version, Mi 9T, Mi A3, Mi 9T pro(to be released this month).

Comparing both specs the only thing the hot 7 have over the Redmi 7a is screen size.

Hot 7 don't 4G,. The Redmi 7a does.

Redmi 7 has a better processor and should also have a better battery backup.

The choice is now on you. The Redmi 7a will have more support than the hot 7.

I thought you just wanted to capture the notification menu only. Well, the only way I can think of is by taking a screenshot after mirroring your phone on a PC. Unfortunately, I can't think of any now.
