Possible...no useless apps on phone, netws stability, 1 SIM uses less battery, WiFi uses less battery too (not sure if he's using mobile network that much), environmental temperature too etc. Some of these will surely contribute to that milestone

I rarely use WIFI to browse but as for the other parameters, I use two Sims but only switch on the other when necessary. I have another phone I use for calls and SMS.

No, I didn't experience this normally, except I use 4g... It gets warm when browsing on 4g for a long time especially when Internet reception is bad. It's adviseable you use 4g only when you need it (I. E when browsing). And its quite normal for its to warm up when hotspot is on. You are using a lot of resources from the phone... Quite normal too when playing games over a long time.. When you notices it warming up, try to disable 4g and hot-spot, then restart the device and observe again
