Hello guys, just got Xiaomi note 8 pro 2 days ago but I noticed that the network goes off at intervals and hike browsing.

What can be the cause ?

You probably have mistakenly turned down the brightness of the phone to zero. Try to locate the slider and turn it back up.

There's this unique scenario happening in my area, MTN recently installed their 4g, but my redmi note 5 isn't connecting to the network, all those with Mtk devices are connecting to the 4g perfectly, wats d problem na?

Settings - permissions - permissions - sms- tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen and click show system - scroll down and deactivate Xiaomi Sim Activate Service.

Yes bro. I've learnt the hard way. My previous Huawei, I was fond of leaving the follow come charger always plugged in without switching off the source. I just came back home from class one day and I found an odorous liquid coming out of the charger. It got spoilt just like that!

Check it first so you can reformat it in ISO( Making it bootable)

The only downside is your phone can only copy out from it but won't be able to copy in.

If your RN5 is CN Version with global ROM and you are certain your SIM is 4G enabled, I am sorry to tell you that MTN probably only deployed band 20 which your device is lacking.

The only options to format it in, are ntfs and exfat32. I left it at the default (NTFS). It still amazes me how the phonr is able to give out sufficient power to access an external drive. I am wowed
