That is why you should take it to a service center.

You can flash the device with a locked bootloader but you need to pay for an authorized mi account so you can flash via EDL Mode.

Or still follow my first advice
Thank you,I've dropped it at the service centre. I was trying to avoid waiting a week initially. Thank

I believe it was those customer care people that told you that. Many of them know nothing about phones, not surprised.

Those customer care people can lie sha. That is how they told someone like that meanwhile it was the emmc that was corrupted and resulted to a panel change.

He got a 4/128GB panel as against the 4/64GB he had.

Well they said every disappointment is a blessing and guess what he is still amongst the first to rush MIUI 12 update when it came out on RN8 and the phone never still blow.

Remove that fear, if you get an update do it.

I would want some of you to be wary of that 'chizzily' moniker. Everyone can make claims on the internet and get away with it because it may not be verified at the spot. This is the thread he/she opened about his/her note 9 pro. https://www.nairaland.com/6013056/xiaomi-review

Please help me out my new Redmi note 9s I unplugged it by exactly 5 pm it was 100 percent and right now it's 90% I have only been on Whatsapp ... just 10 mins ....my Redmi 8 battery lasts more better ... please help me

We have discussed this here severally it is adaptive battery charging.

Xiaomi don't want your battery to reach true 100% it is similar with apple devices. It helps prolong battery life.

Your battery will still last as much after it gets to 90%.

If you need true 100% leave it plugged for more 30mins

No be everything be problem or bug keep up with the thread. Don't load the thread only when you have a problem

Omoh! Una dey funny oh.
No need to scream over these battery ISH.
Have you checked how stable your network is?
Have you considered how hot the weather is?
These factors all contribute to battery not lasting battery life.

Please,y'all should calm down about battery this, battery that.

Look, just enjoy your device.
