Possible Pregnancy? by Garbles: 9:01pm On Aug 13, 2009
When my boyfriend and I were having sex, the condom broke, and we don't know if any got out, This was a few days before I was due to start my period, and I've started my period, does this mean I'm not pregnant? I know you don't have your period when you're pregnant, but I just want to be sure. Also, I take birth control, so if I were to take a pregnancy test, would this affect the test results? If I really am pregnant, what would happen to the baby if I didn't know, and I kept taking my birth control?

Sorry for all of that up there, I just want to be thorough,

If you are not capable of adequately taking care of a baby, then you should not be shagging anyone.

I don't think that you are pregnant. Be careful next time.

Well, its possible you are not pregnant. A pregnancy test will allay your fears. Taking hormonal pills while pregnant could lead to an abortion .And please check out the condoms before using, it might not be a good one.

Just take a pregnancy test first before you take the birth control again. If you are indeed pregnant, then you need  to stop taking the birth control and go see a doctor. Chances are, you might not be pregnant. But one can still have a period and be pregnant. Just go for a pregnancy test. better safe than sorry.
Please check the condom for an Expiration date before you use them.

Birth control doesn't terminate pregnancies if you're already pregnant. but it's not exactly healthy for a fetus either. Go buy a pregnancy test.
