I don't know if I am overreacting or just being myself, I have a very big turn off for guys that constantly use pidgin English during conversations. (My English is not perfect but am trying cheesy

)
Let me take for example, there is this particular nice guy that is asking me out, he claims he is a graduate of a polytechnic but he always speaks to me in pidgin English and its a huge turn off for me, I have been tempted several times to ask him why he doesn't speak pure English but I can't, to avoid embarrassing him. do you think I am overreacting?

And yeah I speak pidgin too but that's because of the mentality you guys have,terming those who opt to speak English as patronizers of a borrowed language
Pigdin English has a way of making the speaker look tout-like and irresponsible

I only speak "pure English" to kids, to my patients, superiors and some ladies am meeting for the first time. As an Edo guy, I rap my pigin like Phyno... Any babe not cool with it better tell me so or swerve. Ain't gat no time to prove nutin..... And BTW an very responsible!!

I speak pidgin BIG TIME!

But I don't wanna meet a lady who's gonna be.speaking pidgin with me while I'm still hustling her.

Its not forming, its just a social etiquette for passion in a romantic gesture. Why don't you speak pidgin in your job interviews?
