Things are worst now but definitely not good during gej tenure. Algeria was able to save $150b when crude oil price was high, how much did gej save? If gej had saved half of what Algeria saved am sure wouldn't have been suffering like this. To be honest, we are plainly our own enemies, too much of politics in the land, we play politics above national interest. They APC knew the policy was a good one and fought it in 2012, led protests and because of that prosponed the judgement day.

The same thing would pop up in the sovereign wealth fund that NOI like five years ago proffered , to save for rainy days instead of squandering excess crude oil wealth by the three tiers of government. The same stupid Amaechi( the most stupid south south politician) led the governors to oppose that move. Today we are suffering the ripple effect of that failed policy.

GEJ said we would miss him when he is gone, I think 11 months is too early for that.
