Look at the rate of kidnapping in the east, look at the state of your roads, and you have some iddiots representing you in Aso rock and National Assembly. Are these not the same people who will rule you after succession?
1. You seem to be crying more than the bereaved.

2. Did anybody kidnap your father in the east?

You all will come here to tell us how we are been seen as idiots abroad and yet we are the ones causing it. Which other citizens are protesting apart from Nigerians and Sri lankas who some people have never heard of. World leaders will see this and come out tomorrow to say stupid things about Nigeria
I wish there are some things in life I can just change. Ghanaians are better off. Protest from now till tomorrow will never give anything sensible.

See how corruption brought together an unholy alliance of strange bedfellows -
Shiite, the nightmare of Ibos in the north plus the rejected "i-beg-to-apply" jews of Nigeria crying for the release of their respective leaders.

If only the FG can lock Zakzaki and Kanu up in the same cell. The outcome would make interesting news.

A people who cannot form a united political structure seeking independence/secession grin grin

They will end up fighting and killing themselves if you grant them a little thing as autonomy and the Federal government will be forced to start managing IDP's from that region. We do not have the money for that.

I don't know where you come from as per region, but I truly wonder why the rest of the country is so obsessed with the concept of one Nigeria as it is today to the point that we can't even call for a national referendum to decide our fate as a nation. If the rest of us think less of the igbos as is very obvious from opinions here on nairaland, and strongly believe that the igbos are not United and can't fend for themselves as a nation, why don't we dare them and at least try regionalism or true federalism?

Let us stop deceiving ourselves. In Canada, Quebec has forever been agitating for sovereignty. It has been debated and defeated severally. It doesn't make Quebec the enemy. It makes the rest of Canada to sit up and address whatever their complaints are.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are better as a united Nigeria. Also, there is no doubt in my mind that the igbos have a legit right to self-determination if they so desire. Nigeria will not crumble if the SE goes, and the SE will not starve to death if they leave Nigeria. Life will simply go on.

Anything to embarrass the 'dullard' and yourself as a Nigerian citizen is what you should say. The man is 74 years old and he can die at any moment(not like I want him to though). You have a long future ahead of you and the rest of the world will always see Nigeria as a country that is not peaceful. How do you even want investors to come in when they see stuffs like this? How I wish I am a Ghanaian.

My friend buhari and GEJ are not mates. What GEJ achieved in 5years. If they give buhari 12years he can't achieve it. Now I hope u r also feeling d suffering that PMB is putting us through. GEJ was voted along tribal lines not based on performance.
And don't ever wonder 4 me how much GEJ paid me. Cos I never asked u how much u were paid. I av the right to support anybody of my choice.

Buhari has failed us, and he is still failing. Most people that talk here, don't cater for themselves. Their parents take care of them,so they may not understand Wat buhari is making us go through. Things were good during GEJ.
Thank you.
Things are worst now but definitely not good during gej tenure. Algeria was able to save $150b when crude oil price was high, how much did gej save? If gej had saved half of what Algeria saved am sure wouldn't have been suffering like this. One other problem with gej was that he allowed too much looting during his tenure, these looted funds are part of the problem we are having now.

This is not how to achieve succession. Put your house together, by making your leaders accountable. Your Ibo leaders are selfish, they don't think of the common man. They only want power for themselves and their family to enjoy.

Look at the rate of kidnapping in the east, look at the state of your roads, and you have some iddiots representing you in Aso rock and National Assembly. Are these not the same people who will rule you after succession?

Looking at the pictures, all I see is a developed country and I wonder if Nigeria can ever be like this... Our great Nigeria how did we miss it? Did we chase our colonial masters away earlier than necessary?... Naija where did we go wrong Is it to late to right our wrongs? Are we walking on eggshells by hoping it'll be better?

Since Buhari took over there's no product or service in Nig that d price has remained the same; everything is up and you say ure for d poor

Crude prices are still dropping yet the APC announce an over 50% increase in d price of PMS? So what were Fashola & the rest saying last yr?

Fuel will sell for N40 they said, well they didn't tell us there was a hidden figure before the 40! Nigerians welcome to change @akaebube

Still fresh in my memory

20 litres in ur car & 10 litres for Gen at 145 Naira for 30 days is N130,500. Nepa bill, food and miscellaneous excluded. Let that sink in

Buhari simply increased petrol price, you don't remove subsidy and still fix the price...don't let "them" fool you...this is CRIMINAL!!

Since it's now N145 a litre , food prices and everything naturally going to go up...

Apart from ur salary .

So we are back to 2012 on this fuel subsidy?

We just delayed our lives by four years.

Clap for yourselves Nigerians. You played yourself.

To be honest, we are plainly our own enemies, too much of politics in the land, we play politics above national interest. They APC knew the policy was a good one and fought it in 2012, led protests and because of that prosponed the judgement day.

The same thing would pop up in the sovereign wealth fund that NOI like five years ago proffered , to save for rainy days instead of squandering excess crude oil wealth by the three tiers of government. The same stupid Amaechi( the most stupid south south politician) led the governors to oppose that move. Today we are suffering the ripple effect of that failed policy.

GEJ said we would miss him when he is gone, I think 11 months is too early for that.

I stay in the north and the northern zombies who were sai baba town criers 11 months ago can no longer talk now.
