Rape has always been prevalent in Nigerian society. I know many people who were sexually molested as children that are now full grown adults. It is just that, we are in the internet age and so news spreads faster. Another thing to note is that, society is hard on victims of rape yet very lenient on the rapist and pedophile. This is because Nigeria is filled with a lot of very sick people.

This girl will grow up and will have problems trusting men and will also hate sex because that is what sexual molest causes often times. It makes the victim hate sex. In the future, Nigerians and their big mouth will begin to ask why the girl who got molested is not married or why she cannot stay in a relationship. They won't know that it is what her father did to her that made her that way. This is why silly society should not discriminate against people who do not want to get married. You don't know how many of them were molested as children and now cannot stand anyone touching them as adults.

If Nigeria does not do something fast about this incessant rape of children in our society, we as a society will breed a generation of women and men that will not be able to foster healthy relationships with the opposite gender and God Almighty will punish this nation. In fact, He has already started.
