SaharaReporters has learned that militants near Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West Local Government Area (LGA) have blown up another section of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) pipeline.

SaharaReporters reliably learned that the incident, which occurred at the early hours of Friday morning, was carried out by militants armed with dynamite and other dangerous weapons.

Confirming the incident, a traditional ruler in the area, who pleaded for anonymity, disclosed that houses in his area were shaken to their foundation from the blast. He stressed that in his opinion the militants responsible are not only harming the nation but the next generation of unborn Nigerians.

The traditional ruler also said that he believed the explosion was significant enough that it would be a set back in oil production for the country.

SaharaReporters attempted to reach Colonel Isa Ado, the spokesman for the Joint Task Force, but he was unavailable to give official confirmation. However, other anonymous military sources with knowledge of the area confirmed the blast.

The best thing we should do, is to sit together and discuss the future of this country. We need to renegotiate so many things.

Those who mistakenly think everything is okay will wake up from their pipe dream to see there are no more pipelines grin grin grin

Its causing oil prices to rise worldwide - Pity Nigeria won't reap the rewards of the NDA.

All the rewards we reaped from the Ibb gulf oil windfall was stolen by Abacha while Buhari was the PTF chairman. And Ken Saro Wiwa paid with his neck on a noose.

Nigeria must restructure along the lines of true federalism or it risks a violent disintegration.

The lazy Northern Oligarchs won't continue to steal and eat fat on our Niger Delta resources.

This lazy and fake feeding bottle system must give way.

I warned many months ago that a new group would emerge from the Creeks that will blend violence with intellectualism and the dynamics will change forever.

The free oil money flowing to those corrupt, dirty and brutish Northern Oligarchs will soon cease.

This system is collapsing; plan your exit strategy already.

Candyrain, good to see you.
