So far, so good. But do all this makes one not prosper in life? Because I've seen quite a whole lotta peeps who fornicate like no tomorrow and they are not just mentally alert, but spiritually alert also.

It depends on your supposition of prosperity. If you think money gotten by all means is prosperity, well, that's you, not what it is according to the covenant.
Prosperity is not how much you have in your bank account. According to the covenant, prosperity is being right with God and man. Having enough to eat and to bless others. Being well in health, and in mind. Being at peace and able to enjoy your sleep. Not being afraid of the unknown, or threats from the ungodly. Not afraid of death or what will happen after you die. No matter what happens, you have assurance and hope.
If any of those people you talked about have all the above, then they indeed, are prosperous. If not, then it's all a farce. That's not prosperity.

There are two Kingdoms, the kingdom of light, where fornication, stealing, lying and all are not allowed, and the Kingdom of darkness where all is allowed. But it's not how far, but how well you go in this life and after here.
Besides, Christianity is not about here, it's an apprenticeship for the Kingdom of God. Practising the Kingdom of God from here.
