Read it somewhere that most guys tend to become more responsible after getting married. That by the time he sees responsibilities as a married man, he wont need anyone to tell him to be prudent and less extravagant....no more spending on several girlfriends and side chics. No more going out to drink with friends all the time, etc. when he has his kids' school fees, his wife's maintenance expenses, bills and other expenses to take of daily, he wont need to be told to start managing his finances/income very well...

I am not in a position to admit or deny whether they are more responsible when they get married or not but at that point they get married their mentality usually change especially where it has to do with taking up responsibilities as a married man. Different issues now occupy there mind but that does not mean that same does not apply to women but not as it does to men
