I needed some clarities and breakdown analysis of the word phrase "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" cos i find it sometimes confusing to comprehend what it realy means. I have usually taken it to mean 'I' as a handsome guy, i am the beholder of my handsomeness,. Should this be the correct interpretation??  |

Nope. It means that different things are beautiful to different people at different times. It's kinda like saying one man's meat is another man's poison;what's beautiful to you might not be beautiful to someone else and vice-versa. |
