In a 8-minute audio uploaded on Youtube, the lecturer was heard bargaining sex with the
victim who sounded pretty much like a young lady. According to
a very close friend of the victim (who is a
200-level student) in the audio clip who
claimed anonymity, the
girl missed his class test.

The lecturer however used the opportunity to
invite her to his office for s*x as the only
alternative to pass the course.

The report attached to the YouTube clip shows that the school management, up till May 30, 2016, failed to see to the matter and
therefore left the student in great threat and despair.

However, according to
Sahelnewsonline correspondent, though the university is yet to make official remarks on this issue, recent report gathered so far has shown that Idiagbon has been suspended by the school authority.

There are claims that Idiagbon gets girls to
become his prey in two ways–making them to
fail his course and attaching to him a lot of female project/
thesis supervises.

“Gist has it that he preys on innocent ladies in the department – exchanging sex for grades. Mind you, he feast on supersize ladies who are way beyond his fist.

In addition, this man has no pity and can crush even male students that will not leave their ‘target’. I can only describe Idiagbon as Sex- for-Grade Master (SGM),” said Babajide Roland, former student of the
department.

“This lecturer tells his students to their face that they will fail his
course (i.e. Syntax), a
challenging course to most students. A classmate once told me he wanted to sleep with her in his office. She told him she was
engaged and he replied that’s not new; she then lied that she was pregnant and he replied it is even sweeter with
pregnancy.

Anyway, what happened next my friend didn’t tell me,”
Lamented Mrs. Adeyemi L. Adedigba, a former student of Idiagbon.

About 95% of his students who were interviewed – both old and current – claimed that Idiagbon has accomplice who is his co-worker in the
department, Taofeeq Alabi (popularly called Michael Jackson).

Some of these students say that these two UniIlorin English department
lecturers are in charge of students’ results compilation team and volunteer most times to serve as members of examination committee in order to ease perpetration of
their atrocities.

In the video, the victim told the lecturer she does not like being touched in the boobs, especially when she is
menstruating.

But the lecturer still insisted. He however ordered her out of his office, saying she is not the only one and that he has enough girls that can serve
him but she should never come to him for
help again.

So Youtube is the appropriate channel to take the audio evidence to so disciplinary action can be taken? How about the school management? Ministry of education? Human rights commission? Women affair? This allegation should be investigated, and if found culpable, punitive measure should be taken.

Most of all this lectures always have their way or scaling out. Buh trust if this tape was investigated well. He deserve a public disgrace while naked.

Methinks Unilorin is so overrated for someone like this to teach English. Come to think of it, he even teaches Syntax which has to do with sentence constructions yet...

This is one of d reasons for absence of economic growth,when most students graduate with STG's(sexually transmitted grades)..how are they gonna improve their sector when they get employed?..,when they don't even know d basics...#smh.

Many of my lecturers we're involved - Dr Wunmi Raji, Dr. Efurosibina Adegbuja, the then HOD, Dr. Dunmade and others. Who employed this pervert of a lecturer? He should be sent home to go f√ck his daughter, his niece, his sister, his aunt and lastly his mom.

Does anyone know whether he is anyway related to the late Tunde Idiagbon? Even he is, he must be served justice accordingly.

Sadly, the recruitment in unilorin most times is by serious connect and indigeneship. alot of lecturers here arent qualified to teach but come in and just pollute the system more.
i am a pg student in this school and knw wat we suffer frm lecturers just cos we are males and arent fine with boobs and all.
Many of them are just perverts and they end up furstrating stdnts who dont do their rubbish bidding. I hope this guy never sees a lecture room anymore.

If the audio recording was that of an actual event that took place between a student and her professor, then her professor had committed a crime of sexual battery. A thorough investigation should be carried out and if a crime was committed, then he should be arrested and the university should fire him. That was such a despicable act committed on a subordinate by a person in authority.
