Well, I've had several personal experiences of persons loosing their minds n healing. Most attributed it to God, only one went to a pyscho ward, they've all been healed with no reoccurence, yet

My take on mental illness, irrespective of confirmed hypothesis, is that; d human brain becomes jumbled under duress.

And, we all have different level of critical mass. While some may get jumbled over marriage pressures, some post-partum, some poverty issues, some unfulfilled marital dreams etc To each his own


Though, most experience vast improvements, when removed from those situations that triggered d collapse, and are pampered.

You make sense though, but most of what you explain above doesn't amount to madness yet, but they are mere depressions and when you give them your shoulders to lean on, they tend to improve. What the OP is talking about here is a case of someone who goes naked, drinks gutter water, clinically certified as mad. That's the case we want to talk about and not some depression experiences which is a very common occurrence in our world of today.
Do you know anyone personally who was certified clinically mad, then by prayers through a pastor, the person became instantly healed?

Well, u try too. But d reality is, those pple were raving mad!? At some point or d other, they had to be restrained, some severally. One had to be placed in a psychatric ward at two different times, in different states!

The difference, I think is, we didnt allow dem to 'escape'. Several of those raving, gutter sleeping, waste eating psychos, actually have lucid moments!

The docs even promised us, one particular one would av to be on drugs till death calls, 3yrs after, nothing! No drugs, no hospice visits, no remission, nothing!

What I've come to realise is, mental health is stigmatised! A lot of families would actually prefer to allow d patient to roam as far away as they can go, than allow them to be associated with their families!

Infact, when a doc suggested a mental institution for a particular patient n I concurred, I was almost cursed!

The op might be expecting d instant miracle type, but mostly, I believe its generally a gradual thing. The so called pastors rescue d mentally ill patient, provide care n possibly treatment and after a while of lucid being lucid, bring them out for public consumption as a miracle.


Most of d pple so far 'miraclelised', look to have been in custody over a period. Generally looked far healthier, barbed n well dressed compared to their before pics! That couldnt have happened within a short period.

I generally surf d net a lot n I've come across numerous stories of pastors healing mental patients. U can actually use google, d same way I did, if truly u investigate such.

Nowadays, everyone has a smartphone n wants to leak d next viral news.

Did u by any chance come across d recent story of d grieving mom in Ph, who lost her kids to a fire accident and went raving mad?! The hubby has been searching for her. Imagine she was searched for and quickly treated, she becomes ur everyday gutter eating, wasteland sleeping everyday lunatic!?

Whereas, she possibly needed minimal medical attention. She might even be rescued and rished to d village for one crazy babalawo to maltreat n add to her problems!
