But the federal government is behind in its own budget looking at the predictions from crude sales that dropped from 2.2million barrels daily to about 900k and also lower income generated from tax. I'm wondering where this money is going to come from except the government is planning not to implement more than 50% of what was budgeted for. But anyway governors that receive should please pay their workers o... People are starving |

Adeosun, using first year economic sense to solve a grave problem. What is needed is Fiscal federalism/autonomy, not handouts to states. Hausa, with their centralized leadership culture would alwzys want to muscle everybody and control everything, even when indications abound that it can't be done. Decentralize this government, you no go hear. You want Alahaji/Almajiri style of relationship where state governents would come to do Ranka dede to the federal govt before they get anything. Using 19 century tool to solve 21st century problem. Foolishness! |

Ofunaofu:GOING BACK TO NGOZI OKONJO EWEALA WAY! This is exactly what the former minister said that makes the apc governor hate her, THAT THEY SHOULD SPEND WITHIN THEIR MEANS, IF THE NEED BE FOR THE GOVERNORS TO BORROW MONEY THEY HAVE TO DO THAT WITH STRINGENT RULES ATTACHE, SO THEY WILL NOT PUT THEIR STATES INTO PERPETUAL DEBT BURDEN, instead our governors like e.g Adamu and Ameachi started attacking the womans integrity. |

mrvitalis: The problem with you, was the lacking of idea and financial policy of previous Administrations, what she map out as request from each state is a banking evaluation target, which you have no idea of. But our youths are not brainless but weak and mentally lazy to study. This is not acceptable by economic pros, while the world and even Nigerians are calling for true Federalism yet She is channel more powers to he central government over the states. Many youths that comment on Nairaland.com are weaken brain fellow, some claim to be graduate, yet can't interpret a performing economic and a collapse one. They comment so stupid. Let me give it to all the able and we'll thinking robust reason Igbo youths on this platform, I read most of comments and believe you write superbly reasonable on policy and issue in regards to Nigeria financial and developmental economic policy. And to my fellow Yoruba youth, it could be said that many comment comes from us, but few are reasonable while the dead comments on politics, economic, finance and poorly quoted, let Yoruba youth stop been stupid and be awake to experience not education pride. The Igbo are 100% educational active and well represented globally . Regards All |

Lol! Netanyahu ke! The last time they went to Israel and took the Israeli government to court asking to be declared Jews around 2007. Scientists couldn't find a single trace of COHANIM MODAL HAPLOTYPE associated with the real Jews (not Jewish or Khazars) in them, they lost and every one of them was deported back to Nigeria. So, Israel has already rejected them. MoneyGreen: |

Only that she was dipping her hands in the money she wanted them to save for the states. Anyone who has ever worked for money know they should spend within their means even if they won't do it, same for people who don't believe it but would still say it like NGOZI OKONJO EWEALA who was spending the money she was supposed to be saving for the states. A woman that run economy aground in time of plenty has nothing to tell the one cleaning her mess she left behind, her opinions should rot in her pig's gut. Ahmeduana: |

ALAKORI GBEWUDANI! AKUKU BI SAN SE RADARADA!! Coward, it's either you are new here or you are not who you claim to be and walk on your head. You are not only brain dead, you are decomposed. Febcom:Seriously I don't get ur point It is an insult for a state governor to come out boldly and say he can't pay salaries, absolutely there is no state that don't have the potential to generate 20bn pay year but what we have lazy governors who who only depends on fedral allocation Take Abia for example Abia have over 50,000 commercial transport vehicles Over 200,000 shops and this people pay over #200 per day in taxes were those this money go to?? That's close to 2bn per month So Abia should have no problem raising 5bn per month What I was even asking is this.. .. If Jonathan was in power will he bail out states?? ? |
