It do not indicates that Atheist are by far saints in the making because they hate God, but just a bunch who do not want to admit they are bound to the same human nature full of the tendency to do every thing Wrong ( sin ), eg killing a fellow man for no just reason which they try force on people with religion. And as they keep pointing fingers on religious people for every atrocities, they should now understand that history has records of all they do as four fingers not one, are directly on them.

People kill because they perceive a threat to their prosperous survival - period. Atheist or religious it makes no difference. Same reason why Catholics killed thousands for having different beliefs. Same reason Hitler killed Jews cause he thought the Jews wanted to take over the world through Judaism and hence Christianity. Same reason the Israelites killed the Moabites etc. So this discussion is futile.

Atheists don't have any moral compass - so they live a morally untrammeled life . Christian moral laws discourage its adherents from erring . We can't say same for the atheists .

If humanity was an experiment and I was a scientist observing. I don't think I would see a difference between those who claim their morals are derived from objectivity or those who claim metaphysical influence.
