Thanks my sister, Amen o. In fact, that taste na something else. I never even drink agbo in my life before. The trick I have used in these two days that I took it was to make sure that immediately after drinking food is entering my mouth and by the time I finish that meal the bitter taste is over.

I really appreciate ur response

iamhistreasure:

Hello Ma, you are very welcome. I pray your stay be very short. Personally Ruzu didn't do much for me though I wasn't consistent cos of the taste. But u could give it a try cos I heard it helps with pcos.
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by joyousf: 10:41pm On Feb 26, 2017
Thanks my sister, never even heard of these things before. I mean the supplements.

ogunbekun:
Sis,

There are so many ways to improve your egg quality naturally. There is no point using clomid yet, I think you should work out the quality first.
Use Royal Jelly, COQ 10, inositol. Pls keep in mind that it takes 3 months for eggs to be produced and mature for release, so this is the minimum time it will take for the effect of the supplements to be noticed.

Other sabi mamas will also come and put mouth.

I wish us all the best

Thanks so much ma. God bless you.

I think you are right. I woke up this morning thinking that if not anything, the mert seems to have facilitated my weight loss which I had tried endlessly for months to do on my own. So I picked it up again today. I tried 1500mg one day but I reacted with nausea and vomitting up and down the next morning. So i decided to stick to 1000mg daily, 500mg in the morning n at night and my body seems to be tolerating that well.

So did the mertformin work for you? Guess, I did not wait enough before trying clomid again. I had used clomid once, it failed, used again with mert failed n the recent clomid with Hmg again still nothing. I should probably continue the mert for a month or two more before trying clomid again.

Interestingly though I did a scan on friday and I was told the eggs didn't mature well I saw vert fertile mucous yesterday and today

It is well.

CravingChic:

My dear...you are on track using metformin already...your case is that of secondary infertility. I would advice you increase your metformin dose to 1500 for 3months, then take an Ovulation inducing drug like letrozole or clomid on the fourth cycle. That's the protocol a gyny placed me on one certain time. Ruzu bitters is also good and Vitex too but I dont think you should be consuming everything because of good reviews. Your current protocol is cool, just take metformim and continue your dieting.

I just remembered anoda med that was part of the protocol- birth control pills for 3 months. My dear, I believe I would have been successful because my friend that was given similar dose by the doctor took in...I had to stop because I developed some issues, not caused by the protocol though. PCOS is a bastard but we would overcome it. Meanwhile, try doing a hormonal profile to check your FSH levels and others.

Congrats to Olaedo, your WIDD is a unique one. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy experience.

Thank you for the quick response. however due to the fact that i live around Ogudu and work at Yaba, i'll prefer a Gynea that i can quickly visit both during work hours and weekends which will not be achievable with Ikorodu.

Please all, anyone with info of good gyneas around yaba/surulere/ maryland/ilupeju/ikeja/berger or even Ogba?

Please do you know any other hospital that is cheaper and good. I don"t mind those states near Abuja if they are good and cheaper. Like Niger State. Nasararawa, Kaduna or Kogi State.

Happy birthday mamitwins. Many more years to you dear. You will celebrate your next birthday with triplets.

I didn't get your mention because you did not type my monicker correctly.
I was using Garki Hospital before moving to Deda. I know there's one good
GYNAE around APO that my Aunt used and I think he is affordable. I chose
Deda because of the reviews and ratings i got about them. Have you gone

Thanks dear for the caution notice... God guide and direct us on what to do, but even more, may the manifestation of our prayers come to pass speedily...

omotutu:
There's something we all do here, self diagnose, pls let's All stop it cos it's toooooo dangerous. There are many causes of infertility and different people are treated differently. If some one has endometriosis and you use clomid, you might further produce cysts and worsen your diagnosis or if another has blocked tubes and use clomid, you are just wasting your eggs. You have to be very close to your gynae so that you can be well monitored. There's no point using fertility drugs without being monitored. Ladies, we Never produce new eggs, we born with all we need and the max is around 500. If you hyper stimulate too much, you are drastically reducing your ovarian reserve meaning that if you are supposed to reach menopause at 50yrs, you will shorten it to like 40yrs - this is called premature ovarian failure. Pls let's be very very careful sisters...

Hello noble ppl of this thread.
Pls I'll need a medical practitioner here to help me translate this result of SFA.
I have tried reading online and watching YouTube videos, but none I've found tells me specifics, here's the result:
Colour: greyish
Volume: 3.6million/ml
Count: 72.4 million cells/ml
Morphology: 65% normal forms, 35% abnormal forms
Motility: 25% active, 55% sluggish, 20% non-motile
Now here's what I need to know in summary:
- is my semen ok, good or very good
- the result that worries me more are morphology and motility, coz WHO standard for normal motility is 32% that's according to what I've read online, but this result is split into 3.
- is there any of the indicators listed above that's below or at the borderline that I'll need to work on.
-any other overall professional advise is needed too pls.
Thanks.
Keep up the good work/spirit of support and togetherness

I am not a medical practitioner, but based on experience, your count and morphology is superbly okay. The motility is below borderline and would need to be worked on but in my lay man's idea,i don't think there is much cause for alarm since the count is high .other sabi maamas and papas would add their input wen dey come online.

Your count is OK however, you would need to work on your motility and the morphology .
The presence of abnormal forms might suggest an infection.
I would suggest you take this result to a Medicine store that has an in house Pharmacist who will adequately give you the right medication to boost these parameters .
In the mean time ,pls refrain from sugary/alcoholic beverages, keep your jewels free from heat via laptops etc and you will be fine
All the best

thank u so much. Lifeshore was recommended to us for IVF and i was just telling DH that we should try the normal hospital first (parkland) before deciding whether to move to Lifeshore (hopefully not) since they are owned by the same person. it was after the discussion that i logged in to check if anyone had recommended hospitals and i saw this. will check them out this week BHG.

RANTING MONDAY
So this neighbour of mine came to meet me sometimes last year after another neighbour put to birth, telling me not to worry, that my own too would come too, I should keep on praying bla bla bla. I told hubby about it and he got angry being that we very private people and all. He even wanted to go and meet the woman, and tell her never to discuss such with me, but I told him to let it go.
Fast forward to yesterday, this same woman saw hubby outside, asked of me and told hubby that she would like to see me, hubby asked her for what, she dint want to talk initially, saying its better she tells me about it directly, after so much persistence, she told hubby that "u know after marriage, the next thing should be children, and that she knows that we ve been married for a while without kids, that she just wants to encourage me, that I shouldn't worry that my own children would come. Na so hubby vex tell am say make she no follow am talk that kain thing for her life again. That does she even know if it's deliberate, and we dont wana have kids yet.
Hubby has even said he would report her to her husband, and to think that is somebody
that I don't have any form of rapport whatsoever with. The only thing that binds us together is good morning, good evening, that's all.
I was just dumbfounded when hubby told me. This TTC journey isn't easy at all. May God make it easy for us and answer us sooner than we expect.

Same thing happened to me 2015. My LL's wife put to bed and my neighbor decided that it was an opportunity for her to poke her nose in my biz. To b honest, when she asked me why "they had not seen big stomach", I was too shocked to give her the comeback she deserved. This is someone that our interaction is limited. Hubby was mad and wanted to call her hsb to warn her. I honestly wish she'd pull d stunt ur neighbor pulled so that she can enjoy the tongue lashing that hubby will give her.
D day my FIL's sister drew me aside to recommend her "wooli" for me, it was my MIL that saved her from hubby's vex. grin
