Pls I need help.
My wife had ectopic pregnancy last year May with ruptured fallopian tube and it was removed .
After two months or so, she started having her periods and it has been stable at 26days since then
This month January we decided to try having a baby.after 26 days her period didn't come and I thought she was pregnant.Only for the period to show up a week after.
What do you think is happening?
What can we do in case like this ?

Thanks

dear the best thing to do is to remove the fibroid before IVF.
i have seen some one who got pregnancy but miscarriage it.
when you operate you can even get pregnant naturally

if you are using IVF route make sure you join the IVF forum.

Thanks for your response. But the fabroids are very little. How can one operate small fabroids?

The period was just probably delayed,it happens sometimes
Here is what you should do
Another HSG to see the state of the other fallopian tube
Hormonal profile test to confirm she's actually ovulating
She should cut down on carbohydrates,
Take more veggies and fruits ,lots of water
You should also do an SFA just so you are sure every other thing is okay
and Above all Prayers, prayers.
Baby dust to you

So I went for the SFA and collected d result today d result showed :

Total motility = Nil
Total progressive = Nil
Normal forms = Nil
Abnormal forms = Nil
Total count 0 × 10^6
WBC = scanty
Vitality = Nil
Immobile = Nil

Now my question is can taking antibiotics affect sperm production this seriously ?

Should I repeat the SFA ? If yes, how soon ?

Thirdly if this result is not caused by the use of antibiotics , what should be my next line of action.

Fortly, which kind of specialist should I see ? A urologist or an endocrinologist or d same fertility doctor attending to my wife ?

I need answers pls.

Thanks.
Bros wahala dey o
You are not producing sperm at all
I guess you should have seen a doctor/urologist by now
This is azoospermia
Just fluid no sperm in it

hello house pease help me and interpret this test,

sperm analysis -
sperm motility -
0% active,
20% sluggish,
80% dead and

morphology
70% normal and
30% abnormal,
sperm count 5million/ml, p.h 7.5,
This result is Very bad
Motility is zero
Morphology is ok
The count is below 20m
CONCLUSION
You can't conceive with the SFA
SFA should be done with culture that said.

Morphology is OK
Count is less than 20m
Conclusion
This result is VERY bad but all hope is not lost.
When next you do another test culture it to know if you have an infection.

I am of the opinion that the surgery and drugs could affect the SFA because your WBC is scanty + Antibiotics including tetracyclines, gentamicin, neomycin, erythromycin, and nitrofurantoin (in extremely high doses) can negatively affect sperm generation, movement, and density. Cimetidine, the active ingredient in Tagamet, can sometimes cause impotence and semen abnormalities. Well from the result of your SFA it VERY bad but hope is not lost.

When did you do the surgery?
Have you healed from the surgery?

See an urologist.

Did you test for infection If not, do so FIRST. Your wife must be included, when you know the type of infection, then both of you must follow the treatment to the T. You have to tackle both sperm count and motility.

Hello Mamas Good Morning.
I did the keyhole surgery and dye test and it was discovered that submucous fibroid is causing an obstruction to the fallopian tube. Due for a Transvaginal test as a follow-up. But what can I use herbs wise in the meantime for this kind of fibroid please?

You can try Pioneer Medical Diagnostic Clinic. It is located at Okokomaiko in Ojo Area of Lagos. I was directed to there by a qualified pharmacist for some tests. They're specialized in fertility tests and hydrotubation. They charge 20k for tubal flushing and 15k for HSG. I was even surprised when I heard d price of the hydrotubation. A lady there told me that they're specialized in it. She said they just did two days ago for one woman that has been ttcing for eight years. According to her, the woman has been battling with fibroids and she did myomectomy three months ago. She came for HSG and they discovered that her tubes were blocked. She came for flushing d next day and it was done successfully. I was really amazed shocked. The woman did follicular tracking too. After the flushing, they discovered that her egg was about to drop and they told her. She came the next day to check on the egg again and it was discovered that it has dropped which means she has ovulated. All these happened in one cycle.
I told the lady my story and she advised me to go for surgery first before coming for hydrotubation.
So, you can try them out if it's not too far for you. If you decided to use them, pls try to give us feedback when you're done. I intend trying them when I'm done with surgery.
Wishing you all the best sis.
