For now, he said lets watch some cycles and see how I go with ovulation monitoring to avoid going thru so much clomid cycles as he can't exceed 6 cycles. If you search online, some had that and got bfp while some got bfn. So its really confusing. Well, for ur case, lets hope its goodnews.

@fruitfulchristy u may use only manix with milk. Someone once said coconut milk is better. But Fertilaid, motility boost and count boost can go together. U can add Vit E as they don't contain enough of it. my dh has not used manix so I'm yet to confirm what it contains and what not. but a pharmacist once told me that it works better to sexual dysfunction and little on the se.men parameters. Baby dust to us all.

Happy new n fruitful week, pls, does fertileaid, count n motility boost works when there is infection in dh S/A. our gynae has prescribed so many antibiotics drugs n injections n they didn't work, his counts is low n d infection now is heavy n he refused to take herbal drugs n therapy. @Chyvia, that could implantation bleeding, you to give yourself some time lets say up to 10 days before retesting so you dont get so much bfn in a row...prefarably, blood test will be the best

@fruitfulchristy, i told you when it comes to ttc and treatment, you need to just sacrifice 1 month or 2 months atleast for treatment else you might never get things right cos the faith of ttc women is something else, our faith is usually 100% immediately after ovulation and we abstain from every form of drugs and stress and when af shows up our faith drops to 0% and we come up with crazy ideas, i am not exempted, i've spent years beleiving every month that "this is the month" and you dare not invite me for a wedding or any occasion during my 2 weeks wait cos i wont show up so i dont blame af on things like, it came out becos i wore heels, or drove or bd or something....its your decision anyways

Hi, just joining nairaland, pls, I need help. Married for 5 years, 3 miscarriage ( 1 ivf and 2 natural), 3 ivf ( 2 failed, 1 successful)
Was told I have retroverted womb but that it isn't a problem. But, Wednesday last week I met with a doc that told me that my uterus is down and retroverted and that is why I have been having miscarriages and that it need to be operated upon so that my pregnancy can stay.pls, is someone tell me should I go ahead? Any Doctor here?

@Gazelle510, i think you should try the local massagers first before considering surgery cos i know they can correct that with massaging or setting of the womb and sincerely i've never heard anyone say a doctor recommended surgery for retroverted womb on this thread instead they usually recommend sexual positions and secondly if you are able to conceive irrespective of the position of you uterus whether natural or ivf the next procedure should be cervical cerclage to prevent miscarriage....confirm from other gynaes what could be done or suggest cerclage to them if they okay it then you go for it as soon as you get pregnant again....i hope this helps?

@mumihaja, thank you so much for quick responds. Though, I did the traditional setting two years and ago. And am still hearing this retroverted thing. My first pregnancy was 5month and 1/2 while the second was abt 10wks and the doc says the sac and wat wat wasn't the same instead if growing it was reducing in size while in the case of ivf I did a scan on 6wks and to confirm the pregnacy and I went bck after two day to get the size and all, it was shocking to learn that they was no heartbeat anymore. I am so concern and worry now. Think am depressed.going out is difficult, socializing is a problem.but thank you for listening and responding.i really need opinions.thanks

@Gazelle510, i think you should start taking Ovaboost to boost the quality of your egg if you are not on it yet then as soon as you get pregnant you can go for the cerclage cos it helps prevent miscarriage in a way becos the 5months miscarriage sounds like something that must have happened as a result of retroverted uterus that is if you stressed your self....you have to be very prayerful as well for the bible says that " none shall cast her young or be barren" and "your Vine (wife) shall not cast her fruit before its time in the field" if you dont pay your tithe then you need to resume and always annoint your stomach and cover your womb with the Blood of Jesus.

@mumihaja I join my faith with yours cos God honours the little steps of faith we take. The month I got pregnant I kept having dreams of telling people I was pregnant and I started speaking it in reality. So my dear all those designers acne na sign of your baby snuggling in by the grace of God! Like you said, you may not know how but it will end in praise!

@Gazelle510 you r welcome! I'm sorry youv had to go through all this struggle. I have never heard of doing surgery for retroverted uterus or reoccurring miscarriages. Can i ask, do you have fibroids? I think you should register with a hospital that has a gynea/ RE that specialises in caring for high risk pregnancies. A cerclage and pelvic rest (bed rest) and some medication is what I know to be ideal for cases like this not surgery. I think you should seek another opinion but surgery is way too extreme if the cause is nothing related to uterine fibroids. Your body has already gone through a lot and I pray you get through this quickly. Take it easy Hun, we're here for you *hugs*

My name is faith and i just joined this forum,i have been TTC for the past three years.
I was diagnosed with uterine synachaie and i had hysteroscopy for correction at Nordica fertility centre and ever since i had that hysteroscopy my story still remains the same,i have been unable to concieve and i am still having scanty menses.i did a scan last week which says i have subserous, intramural and penjuculated fibroid.
My question is has anyone tried Dr Ekeh of Regenesis or Dr Emeka of georges because after spending almost 400k at Nordica on hysteroscopy and not getting any result i am scared of going to any other fertility hospital.Please my lovely mummies to be in the house who do you recommend i go with between this 2 doctors.

Hope ur cycle has been regular before now, may be u ovulated late so the conc is still low to show. @Gazelle510 you got it all. my 2kobo. When next u take in, start antenatal right away and let them know ur history so as to monitor you. Could be low progesterone and u never knew. Could be several other things. Surgery for retroverted uterus I never hear that one before. U just av to change ur style to achieve bfp. Some mamas have gone thru same but with change in sexual position, it became story. Pls see another doc, may be there's another problem for the surgery but not due to the position, I doubt. Baby dust to all.
