I said it before that even Maiduguri is safer than Ph and most parts of ss, where terrorists, armed robbers and cultists are virtually in full control. In Maiduguri and other parts of the north east the people themselves have largely taken control of their own security, but the opposite is the case in the ss. If you don't have anything serious to do there just keep away from that satanic hole called ss. Even if you are there for a good purpose leave as soon as you can because things aren't going to change there any soon with the political leaders there being lawless thugs and killers themselves.

Taxi's are usually coloured. So as to be differentiated from private vehicles. And the type of passengers too would indicate whether to enter or not. A taxi with women and children is much safer than an empty taxi with just you alone.

When u take a 'drop' at night in port Harcourt, the driver can easily drive you to a lonely place, pull out a gun or knife and take all ur valuables.

However in a bus, chances are that you won't be the only person to board the bus at that particular moment.

I any case one needs to be very careful when boarding a vehicle at night.
